On one hand I can't hardly sympathize with you for being aware of Grumpy Cat and opting to use those services. I just seen a article where Grumpy gave a guy back his money after the guy said he wasn't aware of
the violations by those bots. Maybe you also don't understand the ones selling those bots are actually doing and that is at the last minute they spam the system with bots paid for by the same user hundreds of time. Maybe Grumpy Cat doesn't know you may not have understood the severity of what he was trying to get across.
On the other hand I can have all the sympathy in the world for you spending hours writing something that doesn't get any acknowledgement. That's why so far I just can't seem to get serious about his platform because from what I see it hasn't done a whole lot of people much good except those in some third world country where having a dollar is like having a hundred. Pennies just don't add up fast enough in the US like that. I've been a blogger for about three years now so the shock value was real for me when no one replies to stuff you post. My talent for this lies more in staying informed, researching facts and sharing what I learn and debating what I learned with others and pretty much for now that will have to be my strong point on here. As much as someone would like to get paid for their hobby it usually doesn't end up that way unfortunately, at least not in any fast rate of return.
One other thing I'd like to point out is that Steemit is not decentralized. Look at wiki about who owns steemit, it's privately owned. When all the weight started belonging to the top tier it stopped being decentralized. In a decentralized environment all power is equally distributed, that's not true here and if it was there wouldn't be a need for witnesses. Look up what centralized and decentralized means in a business environment and you will see what I mean. Read the whole wiki article and you will see where it state's Steemit is no longer listed as a decentralized platform by a magazine that tracks these types of structures.
I go back to my old blog space all the time, because it is a hobby so I can understand more people's frustrations if this isn't something they'd normally do. You have to have a knack for it. I will follow you, maybe you can link me to your article on depression, I love to read it.
Thank you @sunlit7. I appreciate your informative thoughts on how not decentralized this place is. And I do think the pennies are worth working for. They add up.
Here's the article that started this whole thing, as per your request: https://steemit.com/life/@zipporah/choosing-life
that was one that you should totally upvote, go back through all your comments and up vote them all until your reputation score gets above 40
You're hilarious. ;)
