and so many great contributors that made STeemcamp a reality this year!
It puts Nigeria on the map for the Steem blockchain and the crypto community at large.
There is more creativity expressed in the Steemcamp schedule for 2018, in 1 week,
than I see from many organizations in a year...
I believe Steemcamp is the model program
were we elect our best and brightest to be OUR ambassadors to the world,
promoting a new way of life and a new society,
on a global scale.
Blockchain started with Bitcoin, but we are quickly evolving beyond !
We now run Distributed Apps on a blockchain that acts as a new operating system for the internet, with an economy built directly into it.
We call these Distributed Applications, DAPPS, and they are the reason we know, the blockchain is not a scam, and it’s not magic, and it is simply a new way to do everything better!
Dan Larimer is the inventor of the Steem blockchain and the underlying technology. He is a great inventor, engineer and architect of the tools, for a new way of living.
And Ned Scott, is the brilliant CEO of steemit.com, and one of the people to watch
in this exciting new online trend of blockchain social media.
I encourage everyone to listen to these Pioneers' interviews, and hear what they have to say themselves.
The blockchain is a revolution.
It will create a new internet, upon which we can build strong communities,
powered by voluntary action of everyone committed to a common goal.
This type of community building, creates a new form of value, we can actualy trade with each other through tokens, and essentially create our own person to person currency.
This new model for the internet will be a THOUSAND times more powerful than the current internet we know today.
As we are able to share these new ideas with our friends, family and business owners in our local communities,
we are actually adding more value to these currencies.
As people create demand for these new forms of payment, they are valued much higher as the network grows.
I belive communities like SteemHelpingHands,
create a new model for blockchain AID organizations
that can make a difference.
The philosophy behind something, often defines it:
Words like “Volunteerism"
An economy can be based in large part on volunteerism.
Imagine taking the job you want, and not having to apply for that job,
but simply start doing it!
...voluntary means if you really want it, you just do it... and you are in.
Here is my job application, and here are my results, and start working.
No actual job interview, just take your place, and be a positive contributor.
This new system we have, everyone rises to their own level.
Another word: Agorism
The idea that government really can’t be corrected politically, and the only real solution is self-governance.
Self governance can work if we have the right tools, that motivate people to voluntarily be positive contributors to society.
When motivations are far stronger to contribute rather than to take advantage or steal from others, then the need for police, the military, and many other current governmental functions declines to almost zero!
These motivational provisions are baked very deeply into the Steem blockchain in the form of REPUTATION, upvotes and community oversight.
Top contributors will rise over time, and be recognized as the most valuable members of the community.
I’m going to focus now on my main premise:
ALL HUMAN ACTIVITY has VALUE!
All human activity should be monetized.
This is the new way of the blockchain.
Everything has become automated.
Factory jobs, and farming activity jobs are leaving the economy.
Those jobs will soon be GONE!
There are no manual labor activities in the new modern economy.
There is no longer any way to monetize those activities in the near future.
Driverless tractors, driverless cars, and robotics will replace these jobs, and we must find a new way forward.
So how DO humans continue to make a living?
How do they contribute value to the world?
In the United States, it is a very big question today.
Only people at the top are earning enough resources to live well!
If you are not working at Google, or Facebook, you are largely excluded from the current economy.
This situation excludes MOST people currently graduating from college, everywhere around the world.
HUMAN LIFE IS OF VALUE
Everything that human beings do should be of value.
We should not EXCLUDE!
We should be inclusionary..
Everyone needs a place to live, money in their pocket, and food to eat.
There are enough resources in the world to pay for every activity!
I believe now, all human activity will be monetized.
The problem with the system today, there are too many barriers to getting the job at Google.
The system is designed to EXCLUDE you right now.
WE CAN CHANGE THIS!
We can create ANOTHER economy, that runs along side the existing economy.
An inclusionary economy that rewards all human activity.
Without all the GREED, Inefficiency, and without all the exclusion.

The value of the internet is CONTENT.

Let’s talk for a moment about PAPER MONEY.
We call it FIAT currency.
We believe it has value.
Why?
But in reality, it has so many problems.
We are not going to be able to build Dreams on it.
This current system is failing.
It’s failing every day for people.
People are running out of money.
This fiat currency people save, will not allow them to retire.
The money is becoming more and more worthless every day thru inflation.
With the blockchain we can form a community around an Idea, and monetize it.
You literally have the same ability to create, as these fiat currencies.
And have the community decide the value of that Idea.
You really NEED TO take this seriously.
This is reality and is happening as we speak.
The world is transforming faster than we can possibly imagine!
Many young, energetic people like yourselves are doing this now, and supporting themselves with it, and it will grow incredibly fast as others see their successes!
Tokens have value and appreciate over time.
A lot more value, than this paper money we are carrying around in our pockets, that depreciates every single day.

Steem is the best blockhain ever! I've never experienced an online community where my desire to create has been so uninhibited. I'm free to create content as I wish and others are free to read it. The beauty is in the simplicity and uncensored nature of this system that affords us a place to be free and explore.
There is no place like home and Steemit, to me, feels closer to home than I've ever gotten before as a creator. Truly a blockchain of opportunity and for that, I say THANK YOU.
Steem is just a first attempt, and it's doing well. It is SUCH A GREAT IDEA, that it will soon have many competitors! ;-)
The point of centralization based on stake-weighted voting is important because Steemit is becoming an attractive place to be with uplifting consciousness that rewards creative and constructive criticism. So, the ones that hold the weight have most likely worked their way up on reputation by helping others and encouraging new users to be creative and unique. It is all incentive based which begs for our better selves to show up.

Simply by carrying your phone and doing minor activities, anyone can work without really having to apply for a job.
I love Steemit because it gives you the freedom to do whatever you want to.
And yes, the paper money has a lot of issues tied to it.

Blockchain is an idea used to take us into a more centralized government. For the first time ever the government will have total control over people globally. The word trust will be replaced with obey the government not trust the government. Organizations and peer networks will be totally monitored and controlled by the central authority, the government; hence, the Blockchain. The 21st century will require mass obedience to authority. The word Blockchain is meant to confuse people, to create conflict among people. Blockchain is designed to not be understood. Blockchain will disrupt the disrupters of government centralizing control even more to the government. Pre-computing a piece of paper with recorded data sequentially written on it was a Blockchain basically (see how fundamentally simple this really is?); however, the term Blockchain is now an idea/tool/weapon...to be used by people in power to retain their power. Authority ( the government) is synonymous with Blockchain.
It's a fair argument.
And all I can think right now, is when people are starving and we need solutions for re-distribution of resources, then it's still a pretty good idea. I notice I am feeling more independent but I'm also being monitored MORE, not less than previously, on a public blockchain, that is true.
Realizing that doing a Goog search puts us on the map of monitoring, doesn't really help people have money in their pockets, and something we can do about it, is still really valuable.
And what is government?
In the future, it will simply be ourselves.
But I do agree, we need new solutions for PRIVACY!

How does Bitcoin work?
Bitcoin is a virtual virtual currency. It can save its own value, bank or any other organization to save bitcoin after it is not needed. Bitcoin behaves like gold. It increases the value of your own as gold and exchange it at will. It is possible to earn a lot of money by selling the Bitcoin and increasing the price in the future. But there is no increase in the price of Bitcoin at all times, but at the very least it reduces the cost of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is operated through Blockchain. Block chains are a very simple account. Blockquanes are different for each user and their personal bitcoin wallet. Transaction of all Bitakayen transactions is recorded in a public accountant as a proof of transaction. This process helps in protecting people from Bitcoin fraud. Bitcoin is written on the wallet in digital wallet, not written in personal name. That means that Bitcoin Transaction can be completely hidden (Anonymously). While someone else will not be able to see your personal identity easily, but they can see your Bitcoin Wallet Transaction History.
If you send Bitcoin to a bitcane wallet, then it is pending for moderation. If a minor transaction is not approved, then the bit coins will not reach the other side of the wallet. Minor has to pay seven hundred rupees for this moderation. If there is a powerful computer, then anyone can become Bitcoin Miner.
General currency is regulated by the government of the country. Whenever they need they produce new coins. Bitcoin has no such rules. But Bitcoin has a limit on creation. Bitcoin production will be automatically stopped after reaching 21 million units worldwide. If the amount of bitcoin is too high then its price decreases...

I'm lost for words at the moment, what you are describing here is exactly what my community @promo-mentors is doing. I started 3 months ago with this community. Initially it was to help retain users for the #promo-steem movement. I don't know if you are familiar with promo-steem but it is a growing movement of steemit promoters with as goal to get steemit to the masses. @steem-ambassador is the main account and I am the moderator of Discord group (https://discord.gg/qSkE2aY).
Both @steem-ambassador and @promo-mentors are close to be launched. And when it happens I am confident the adoptation of Steemit will sky rocket. #promo-steem started out with a dozen promoters, which now has grown over 200 active promoters blogging on this tag.
#Promo-Steem is run by @starkerz, @stephenkendal and @anarchotech while I run @promo-mentors. Promo-mentors is a community of new and experienced Steemians that has grown to 550 members in 3 months. Daily I work with a team of 15 mentors (6 are from @curie including me) to guide Steemians in their blogging. We are in direct contact with them and we teach them the basic stuff of blogging (no plagarism and how to construct their blogs in a neat way). But what is more important to us is that to teach them how to add value to steemit, that there is more than blogging.
My dream for @promo-mentors is that it will encourage many people to start their own projects that add value to the people in Steemit but also outside Steemit.

Picture a cartoon version of woody woodpecker laughing as your life-savings is stolen by an anonymous hacker. Thus far, this is what blockchain looks like to all "targeted individuals." ...And, people who are not targeted are servile sheep who have never changed anything, and never will change anything. Who does that leave as "technically-proficient users"? The same sorts of people who should have been focusing on opsec, building great defensive tools, etc. Blockchain is probably a pipe-dream, and an immense waste of resources, with one exception: social media replacement. Right now, people are jacking off on Twitter, Facebook, G+, etc. and getting paid nothing. If every upvote made them a penny, at least some of that effort could avoid being a total waste of time.

'm always suspicious when any company has to spend money creating (or inventing) an independent entity, call it a center, an institute, an association, a platform.... to make all of us see how simple, trustable, decentralized, controlled and verified they are. And I get even more suspicious when they have to spend even more money on hiring a publicity agency which then hires writers, director, graphics designers and an actress with a calming, soft voice that appeals to our trusting feelings (with all that crap of unconcious calming effects of mothers voices). All those spends make me distrust. Someone paid for the making of this video. I don't know who, where that money came from and why was spent on this. And I don't know what's the expected reward on that investment. Whether my personal data, my money or both. I guess both.
