Teach A Newbie Steemian How To Fish And Feed Him Fishes And Whale Meat As He Learns To Fish!

Terrrrrrrry

"Terry go to work": "If you don't work, you can't survive!"

The question is, do i want to survive! Is survival the only reason i am in this world! I have been surviving all my life and i am now 31, shouldn't there be a full-stop? Shouldn't i get tired of survival? Isn't my tongue also made for champagne?

"Terry, if you don't work you won't eat"; Then i go; "oh, who said i want food; "Starvation is Delicious!" Jesus didn't eat for 40 days and 40 nights, yet, turning stones to bread didn't appeal to him!

"Terry, do you know how long it took me before i became a manager?" Then, just so you can listen to the same old story, you let them speak and they go on saying: "I spent 20 years as a clerk, then another 10 years as my Madam's driver, then i got ambitious and i got married at the age of 50, to my 60 year old Madam, after driving her around for 10 years and you see; now i am the Manager of my wife's company!"

You get all the above answers, when you lay bare your proposal before a committee of people asking for crowdfunding, to help you leave your office job, inorder to build a steem blockchain technology that could feed nations. They laugh at your dreams saying: "Terry, won't you feed yourself first, before you embark on feeding nations". They feel that the way out, is the very same ladder that they climbed.

They had it tough, so everyone must have it tough?

Now this isn't exactly a bad way to go; but mind you, many things in today have changed. The 22nd century calendar is in the printery!

But pause a bit; let's analyze 'the jobs' refered to, in this case study above:

"Job as a clerk at 150 dollars a month, for 20 years at an annual appraisal subject to performance; 10 percent max puts you at around 450 dollars! Then on you go, to driving Madam for another 10 years, starting at 500 dollars to end the decade at 1,000 dollars.

Let's stop here; "Everyone is a Manager, if they get to 60!"

Big Question: If you went through this hassle, must everyone have to go through the same? If i was a prostitute all my life, won't i very happily at the very least, use my prostitution to create a legacy for my upcoming daughter, so that she never gets to taste the streets of prostitution?

If We Went Through Ups And Downs During Our Beta Period On Steemit, Must Steemian Newbies Today, Go Thru The Same?

What do you do when you walk past cheetah street and see 100s of steemians pinpointedly and perhaps, agonizingly screaming at @cheetah: "This is my content and i have it all published on my personal blog"? Do we pick them out of their agony and wipe away their anxiety with instancy?

It takes 3 words and 2 tips to instantly fix these steemians and save them ages of anxiety!

What's a slider?

Is this a dumb question? Tackling this question takes 1 minute and even though you don't know how well to explain it, it still takes one minute to call a friend. "Simply call on @steemgigs in your reply to a newbie steemian in need and @steemgigs, would go ahead and send steemians indeed to the rescue!"

Instant Fixes The Will Set Newbie Steemians Up To A Steemit Pleasure Ride!

1. Many steemians newbies don't know how curation works and how it is incentivized so that quality content wins.

2. Many steemian newbies take forever to know that their efforts at creating quality content, have been recognized and deemed great by a curation guild of reputable steemians such as @curie or @steemvoter or @steemtrail

3. Many newbie steemians don't know that consistency while creating content pays off or that having a defined path or being distinct matters.

4. Many newbie steemians don't know that curators have around 40 votes at 100 percent daily and that starting from the 41 st vote, voting power starts to lose impact and that this and many other factors are involve in the decisions to vote on a post!

5. Many newbies don't know that steemit is modeled also around keeping steemians at our best behavior and being that our presence stays on the bare blockchain, many factors beyond your quality steemit post goes into the decision to vote on a post!

6. Many newbies don't know that the steem blockchain is the blockchain and that steemit is one app or interface to the steem blockchain among many others like @busy.org, @zappl @steemq etc

7. Many newbies don't know that bringing all your friends and family has almost direct relation, with how much we earn as steemians!

The fact is, without help, many steemians may take ages to come to know some of these things!

But why is this the case? We have been here on steemit in beta, so why do our newbies still have to get lost in steemit wonderland?

Yes, it was a hassle and we faced many ups-and-downs just to earn; but do new steemians today have to go through that same road, when we have done the experience? Aren't we the shock-absorbers?

Well, let me do some explaining!

The thing is to really grow; ups-and-downs can be healthy. Yes, i will not let my kids taste any of my suffering but i sure will create artificial hassle scenarios, so that they are aware that there is a time to laugh and a time for sober reflection.

This also applies to steemit and i am speaking from experience. If you pick a newbie steemian up; hold him by the hand; and feed him fish fish fish and even spoil him with some succulent whale meat; depending on the steemian, he may become too overwhelmed when any foreign circumstance like a simple soft fork or low reward pool etc springs up. Too, his conviction about steemit and its beauty may shake because it was untested relationships!

When nobody woos your girl friend daily, don't think she is all yours! True love is long surffering and tested!

BUT

But should a steemian be endlessly left in the dark for ages with regards to the basics of steemit or fishing? The answer is plain NO.

We teach them how to fish and while they fish, we feed them with fish! "So feed him fish, while you teach him how to fish!"

Everything it takes to fix new steemians to steemit basics and set them on a path to success can be accomplished in one 30 minute chat session. I am speaking from experience!
  • Remove the money from the picture. Expand their vision!
  • Hold them by the hand and show them the expanse of steemit's beauty but don't let them bow
  • Help them live in peace with bots!
  • Help them understand how curation works!
  • Help them see why they need to write for two audience; steemit and searchengines.com.
  • Pamper them, motivate them, promote them and commend them
  • etc...................
Again all mentioned above, takes one chat session!

Now let them loose and let them breathe new steemit air; freedom!

But just before you let them go: instill in them the need to teach other steemian newbies, the principles that have been taught!

Then watch and see how fast they go and just if they start to excel faster than you; grab a beer and say:

"HOORAY!"

We always say, there are always ideas so a new post. All the ideas needed for a next killer steemit post can be found right here on steemit. You made a meme; you can easily digress that into a post! Question tho, are you on steemit daily? What other languages do you speak?

Your comment is just beautiful, down to the font. Thank you!

I made it into a meme.

😂😂😂

I am on Steemit daily and happy give my two cents everywhere I can (my vote adds two cents when I have 85% voting power or more). If you check my blog @gogogadget, I made that meme into a post. I don't know if it's okay with @surpassinggoogle to drop the link here.

I know a small amount of American Sign Language, and a couple random words here and there in random languages (mexican curse words picked up from co-workers and a few japanese words picked up from watching anime in japanese with subtitles).

How do we reach you? Are you on steemit.chat or discord? What is your username?

I am gogogadget on steemitchat. I don't have a discord, though I am going to look into it. Second time today someone asked me about that.
