As you guys all could read in my article about steemcleaners for a few weeks ago is this the perfect way as a minnow to help the community. You will be able to help clean steemit from abusers and at the same time you can earn some SteemPower.
This post is to post the results of my second sweep with the purpose to encourage other minnows to start sweeping too. Also this time I focussed totally on users wich were spamming with comments because I think they are really annoying. Maybe I will try to catch some different kinds of abuse in the coming week. My second sweep was from 12/2 - 20/2 and in this period I reported the following amount of abusers:
12/2 - 9 users
13/2 - 0 users
14/2 - 10 users
15/2 - 14 users
16/2 - 1 user
17/2 - 7 users
18/2 - 9 users
19/2 - 14 users
20/2 - 1 user
Total: 65 users! (A new personal best)
And this resulted in the following reward:
This means that each report was worth (2.858/65=) 0.044 Steem Power!
For some reason the reward for each report is much lower then last week. I dont actually know what caused the difference. Possible reasons could be that there were more reports in total or maybe a lot of my reports didn't get approved. I will continue sweeping and hopefully soon I can tell you more precisely how much in rewards you get for each report.
Summary:
Sweep 1 - (5.424/31=) 0.175 Steem Power (only comment spam)
Sweep 2 - (2.858/65=) 0.044 Steem Power (only comment spam)
I hope this inspire you guys to start cleaning too! We all want a better community without spammers/abusers so get your broom and start sweeping!

Hi @sv1rby thanks for the update. Thanks to you i reported some things to steemcleaners too the last few days. How will i know if I am reporting the correct way? So far I reported plagiarism only. What I did was fill in the report form on steemcleaners.org. Is this the correct way? Also, is there a way to check the status of these reports? I know steemcleaners have a daily report, but i find these not very useful :) Any info is welcome!
Hey!! So good to hear that my posts inspired you to start cleaning too :) The correct way is to fill in the form on steemcleaners.org yes ! On the faq on that website you can read about how they judge the different sorts of abuse (So that you know when to report). Just now they dont send you updates about your reports but when you get a reward you know at least some of your reports were approved. I dont know how much time they need to judge reports tough. I got my first reward on monday but this time on wednesday so probably you get your first reward at the beginning of next week then :) If you have more questions feel free to ask..
