There are so many applications which are useful for Steemit users and owners of steem or steem power, that I can’t possibly list them all. Below I am listing at least 17 of my favourite steemit related applications and websites.
I will simply list the links. Please feel to visit the links and explore. You are welcome to describe the features of any link or add a picture in your comments. Users will find that useful.
Do you have a favourite steemit application or website? Tell me about it, in the comments below, with a link and photo! I will thank you.
Are you the developer of one of the applications listed? What didn’t I say, that you would have said?. Please let us have your comments!
Are you developing a steemit application? Please tell us all about it.
Do you need a new steemit application? What features would you like to be included?
Many of you will see that these links are incredibly useful. It was hard work putting the list together. Please don’t forget to upvote if find this blog useful.
A note to all commenters - and a gentle warning to comment spammers.
Before you comment, please upvote this post. You will participate in the curation rewards by upvoting. You don’t need to comment to get a curation reward. The sooner you vote, the bigger your share of the curation reward. Early voters get more.
The comments section is for those who would like to join in the discussion by adding something useful to me or to other readers. Before you comment, please think “Is what I am writing going to be useful to other readers?”. If the answer is “Yes”, then I love you. I will vote you. I might check your other posts. I might decide to follow you.
If you have nothing particularly useful to say, then, no problem, don’t say anything. Just vote. I will still love you for your vote. You don’t need to tell me you voted. I can easily see who voted, who followed, who flagged and who re-steemed. There’s no need to mention it in a comment. I check everyone who votes anyway.
If you are a comment-spammer, then this is not the place for you. Don’t write things like “Great post bro”, “Good post about steemit, thanks for sharing” or “Thanks for the really useful information”. If that’s how you feel, just up-vote. Comments like this don’t add anything to the discussion. They will be perceived by me and by other readers as spam, and you have a high risk that I or some of my followers will criticise you, or flag you.
Please don’t request follow for follow, vote for vote, or post non related links or memes. Keep everything relevant to the topic of this blog.

Of all the sites mentioned, the best and most useful for me is the following. You can find out almost anything about an account, like who voted, where your curation reward comes from, or many other useful things.
https://steemworld.org/@swissclive
I was working all around to get myself acquainted with the steemit API as a developer, and while researching i stumble on https://streemian.com/ and i checked through its features, and i really loved it. I've not really register on the platform, but i really did bookmarked the page.
I figured out it wasn't listed, and i know someone might be out there needing the feature they provide. I'll really try it soon.
That's a really useful site. What a great find! It has loads of features not found on other steemit applications.
For example, it allows you to sponsor a steemian by voting when he votes. "Follow a curator".
It lets you make future posts. Commiting suicide? Well you could write your goodbye letter, and set it to be published after you are already dead and gone.
It has something about RSS streams and staying up to date with steemit events. Looks interesting.
It has a "ping" service.
It can post for you in multiple places simultaneously.
I'm glad you love it @swissclive. I'll venture into their services soon. I'm kinda busy these days. I'm looking for a way to automate processes out here. I want my posts on steemit to appear on my facebook page, so i'll have to write just once. Before i forget, a very big thanks for the upvote, that's the heaviest upvote i've ever received. Thanks a lot.
From what I read, it sounds like you can probably post once but have it published in multiple places, so maybe Facebook is one of them.
I am glad you appreciated my large upvote. Here is another to keep you going.
I get alot of requests to upvote people. I try to focus on the better quality comments and blogs. As a general rule I upvore the blogs I like best, but don’t upvote those which don’t attract me, even if they are brilliant.
I slso don’t upvote anyone who requests it.
Wow!!! I'm kinda short of words @swissclive. Thanks to you.
I love what you do, i believe it'll make new users like me understand what steemit is all about. Like finding the best contents and making a vote for it. I read several articles, and i'm still reading in order to understand more about steemit. With my current discovery, i believe it's similar with blogs, where you'll get some SEO rankings based on the quality of the contents you wrote.
When i first came in, i wrote some few articles and later started the #jilhQuestions, where i ask some questions and wait for people to reply to them. I've waited for quite a number of time seeing little or no response at all on the posts. That really pushed me into wanting to know more about steemit.
With the little info i have now about steemit, i just wait until i have some extra time to write on topics that i'm inspired to write about, contribute to wonderful discussions, and upvote with my little power and i'm loving it.
I still don't know how to address you though - either sire or ma'am, but i'll use them both until you help me out with that.
Thanks for your generosity sire/ma'am.
@jilh Good luck on your journey through steemit! Please write for the pleasure , the community and because you are inspired. Unfortunately most who write hoping for votes or money end up being disappointed. My first 12 blogs earned less than 10 cents in total.
It’s sir by rhe way.
Thanks a lot sir. I really appreciate your words and encouragement.
I like this kind of initiative, It would be great if you could drop a few words about what each does.
Always honoured to get a comment from you @transisto. I think it is a great idea to add a line or two against each one and what it does. It will be hard to do justice to some of the more comprehensive applications which have 10s of functions, but a few line is better than nothing. I will work on this to make a better post and with a few pictures of the main interface. I see from the comments that there are loads of applications I did not know about, so I will add them on after checking.
In my own case I prefer using https://busy.org/@enajo. This is because I like the web interface. And when ever I'm making a post using busy.org I get to know the number of words I have written and it helps me a lot when I am writing for a contest.
Great point. I know that busy is a popular alternative to steemit on the same blockchain, so whatever you post on busy also appears on steemit. I did not mention things like Busy or Medium because I have not tried them much so they weren’t in my favorite list, but they probably should be.
In my opinion I think you should try using busy.org, you might like it too. Thanks for the upvote, I really appreciate.
This is really a nice list. Most of them I already know, but I need to check out a few more.
In the past steemworld was also my favorite. Both for checking my own account as well as for checking other accounts. But for my own account I started to use ginabot as of laat week. That's just a little better. As it also notifies you about new followers and unfollow ones.
Steem spectacles.com is the most funniest one. I hope you don't mind me showing to everyone why....
Hahahah! I cant stop laughing. Nearly all my followers are either dead, or already ghosts!
At least 300 of my 2278 followers seem to be real. Thank god for that.
I think 300 is really nice. I'm not fully remembering the exact numbers. But Steemit has close to 1,000,000 accounts. And I think less than 150,000 are active. So that's less than 15%. That would mean about 300 active users. Precisely what you would expect.
But I think if you analyze even further you do a bit better. Among your ghost followers are also some bots. Those bots are included in the 150,000 active (if they upvote). But those are not included in your 15% active users.
Good point. So maybe I am doing better than the average Joe in percentage of non deceased followers.
in my opinion, steemfollower is an excellent app which is used by several steemitians.
Well I'm not aware of all of these applications of steemit but some of the steemit application I do know.
I think steem.supply by @dragosroua is a very good application, helps you to keep track of all of your payouts.
Another great application is steembottracker by @yabapmatt , here some of the people think that it's not right to use bots but I think it's very important to use them bots for minnows. All these applications are great and thanks to those who developed these.
My favorites are a few but I will talk about just two in this comment
https://steembottracker.com My Profile
• You see as a business oriented person and I believe in bid bit bot investment and usage for promotion. I’ve got to study and be able to compare between available bots so I could make a right choice , steembottracker.com has really helped me with my promotion decisions.
• Steemsupply
http://steem.supply
Nothing is better than working and monitoring your progress as you work hard everyday, this could show you how better your improving by showing you potential rewards and this could help make a decision either to work harder or other decisions. I check this first thing in the morning and almost every hour you see how useful this is .
I hope other Steemians finds this useful . Thanks for reading
Well done for explaining the use of steem supply and steem bot tracker so well. If you are trying to make money, then these are excellent tools.
Out of all the links and apps mentioned, https://steemit.com/ginabot/@ginabot/ginabot-the-best-notifcation-service-in-the-steemiverse is my favorite. It gives instant notification that help my steemit activities. I check it almost every minute
Another of my favorite is busy.org which you did not mention. I use it to do most of my post. The site is cool and the notification service is also OK. They also so referral program. You can check it out https://busy.org/@fatherfaith
@fatherfaith, the ginabot is definately a top app. I use it all day long.
Personally, i use steepshots App ,as a graphics designer i normally make my uploads from their onterface, its seamless and easy to use.
You've got a ton of websites here that i don't even know about.
Is there any website where all steem based websites and apps are published? Like a repository?
BTW, i just resteemed this to have a copy to get to whenever it's needed. I hope you don't mind.
Re-steeming this list is a great way to make sure you can find all the apps again.
Not just the Apps, also i can gain access to great contents whenever its published.
You did a great job by telling all the applications. It's useful for all newbies.
Here are another website called:
http://www.steemdollar.com/ Where you can check price in BTC and USD of your SBD.
http://steemvp.com/
https://steemvoter.com/
I love the second link for the funny font and text. Thanks for finding this super link.
https://mysteemitfriends.online/
Heres a good one. To see different ranking and who upvoted you and vote values, etc. Try it out.
I know just a few of these and uses them. I find steem.supply really useful, if i needed to check my next 7 days pay out while I use steemnow.com to check my current reputation.
I uses www.steemdollar.com, when i want to quickly check out the price of Steem Dollar or Steem
everything from the post link that you display I like, but among the many that I really like the application https://smartsteem.com
the reason is because here we can organize icome and pasive icome and smartsteem also can help the novice steemit users to improve their reputation including the increase of STEEM and SBD by using bidbot service. thank you
Smartsteem is indeed useful.
very useful for me the beginner.
It is a very clever application. Hats off to the programmer.
he is smart .., sometimes likes to make bawel too
thanks you for his appreciation
thanks you for his appreciation
@swissclive there are basically 3 applications i would want on steemit.com
An App that calculates and shows your expected earnings per day, week or so.
An app that allows you edit pictures, mostimes due to picture quality we need to edit them before posting.
An App that shows the total of what you have earned at the end of the day.
Thank you.
Check https://steempayout.com for your number 1 request.
I agree these are apps we could all use. Hopefully an app developer will read this, and make what we all need.
Apparently, I am yet to get accustomed with lots of apps associated with Steem.
I love steemd, steem.supply and a host of some others.
My favourite is steemd the programming is just so fabulous can't get the screenshot due to network issues
Others are steem.suppy by @dragosroua and steem voter
Steem.supply shows your rewards summation weekly amidst some cool features
Steem voter affords one the chance to curate even while away.
Using steem voter to curate while you are away is a great idea. I suggest using some of the other tools to see which authors blogs produced the highest rewards for you, and set your tool to auto vote that author after a certain number of minutes. It’s a matter of debate as to how many minutes. Some say 30 is the ideal time as after 30 mins you collect the maximum of 25%. Others say that you want to vote before others to share the curation reward of later voters. Some say 19 to 21 minutes is a good voting time.
Mine is not actually a website but more of an extensions via google chrome browser, it gives me direct percentage of users who vote on a post and the amount each vote is worth, also shows me followers or following direct steempower and their respective 100% vote value, price of steem in usd anytime and many more but you have to install more than one extension to fully utilize all, with it I can get the info directly except more in-depth information in which case I use steemworld.org
This chrome extension is really wonderful. I have it, but I forget where to get the extension. Any idea?
i cant live anymore whitout steemworld.org
I can’t live without steemworld either. Sometimes it breaks, and I don’t know what to do. I might be forced to read a book or watch TV. But not before I try to refresh a few thousand times.
I am a new user of steemit and the truth is that I do not know much about these applications, however, by reading the list that you shared I found several interesting ones, like https://steemworld.org/ as it allows us to obtain useful information about the members of our interest.
Exactly I can see anything about anybody.
50 Amazingly Useful Websites You Never Knew Existed

I checked your profile and im glad to see that you're still very active on steemit.
How have you been doing?

Awww, we didn't make the list :-(
We'll try harder...
You might write one paragraph about this if it is so good.
thanks for the information, how can I register the website https://steemworld.org
Thanks for the information maam.
Glad to see your post after long.
This is brilliant dear @swissclive and thanks for putting these all up and also to everyone who has invented these applications, they do brilliantly. Cheers
Resteemed
You really have amazing list there and I really trust your judgement. I will try Steemworld.org out later today.
I started using busy.org few months ago and i would say it has been simply amazing. The inter-phase is so cool. It is very easy to navigate and use. You get all your notifications on one page and you get to see everything, even those who recently follow. You get to also see those who upvote and with what %. It is absolutely user friendly. You also get upvotes from them when you use their tag and they will never share your pay out with you.
You should try it out and see first.
