I was marching during that time, standing against the war profiteers was the right thing to do.
Is there an equivalent to war in flagging?
I think so, people are tired of the flag wars, but have small ability to effect change, the feeling is very disheartening, we have to accept it, or create massive unity.
Thanks @tawasi. I totally agree marching against the was was the right thing to do - just that it wasn't as effective as we'd have liked, and that's a sobering lesson.
People are tired of the flag wars. Are these analogous to wars though? I don't know. It's certainly the case that non-combatants can get caught in the crossfire.
