Irony, sarcasm, innuendo. You are a humorous dude.
I learned a lot from this post, I still have to go back and look at some of the links, you know once the paint chip bowl is refilled and I have a spare two weeks, it could happen!
As a minnow, I am still learning my way around. Your pointers on style and form seem important.
I notice you only sparingly referred to the community aspect, the circle-jerking paint chip eaters, I clearly need to read some of the links for a better understanding. That said, how important is community to your steemit experience?
Another commenter mentioned it, but when people see big numbers at the bottom of your post, they associate it with quality. Doesn't matter if you took a picture of your last shit, they'll still tell you it was amazing. Until it becomes openly stated that you basically have to pay for exposure here, this won't change.
That said, if you actually create a quality piece of content like I'm trying to do, then you'll get people leaving genuine comments. This is what I consider "community."
A lot of people still think that if they leave 200 word comments that it will do something for them. Let me tell you now my brother, one thing matters on this or any platform: visibility. Do people see you? Do they know who you are?
And when you DO get them to see you, did you make an impression?
If you can do BOTH of those things AND have a little money to spend on promotion, then you will succeed here. Or if you're a sexy girl.
