It's a good evening here and I want us to discuss about something. But first I would like you checked out steemwhales.com
It's a site that shows the accounts with the most steempower or steem on steemit.
Those accounts are whales, at least that's how we call it here on steemit.
I will not forget the orca and the dolphins, these people have some high steem power too.
So as a steemian what do you have??
Or maybe I should ask
what are your ultimate goals on the steemit platform?
On steemwhales do we have accounts with the most steempower, these people have the ability to earn the most rewards on steemit. Right now the price for steem locks at about $3.65
And some of these accounts have accumulated more than 1m steempower.
They can choose to powerdown and build houses or go vacations whatever. Which guess brings us to this point
Accumulating steempower is a way of building wealth on the steemit platform.
Blogging everyday for money without accumulating steempower to gain influence on the platform can be tiresome. It's 2018 and by 2020 you can feel like you 85 years old already.
When you withdraw every steem you get from blogging, it means that you are either soon leaving steemit or you are ready to carry buckets around the steemit platform forever
The importance of steempower has been mentioned on thousands of posts on steemit.
People have written articles to emphasize this, i have read some and i understood something.
Everytime you decide to build something out of sacrifice it's most likely to return an endless favor.
Building a pipeline takes time, work, sacrifice and carrying buckets is short term fix for financial gains but it likely to only take you far.
Check out this investment knowledge.
A story in that article talks about two men who were providing water to their towns.
As we can all see the second man who used a pipeline made more money, he was able to help masses of people with ease, he was able to earn money without his own presence, he was able to give some jobs to the people.
His impact was so much superior to the man who was fetching water in the buckets, he got sick and worn out that he couldn't go any further.
So is steem
Personally i wouldn't like carrying buckets of water, the same way i wouldn't like endlessly searching for authors who give votes on comments for years and years. I guess it's part of growth on the platform to powerup.
When you realize that steem has a bright future it's kinda logical to power up.
If you really want to support so many people on the platform are you supposed to make some steem.
Do you want to start up projects with ease, earn a good passive income, be part of the force that drives the steemit network, then it too is logical to accumulate some steempower.

Welcome @ireneblessing , if one is going to stay on steemit for long, a steempower investment is the best way.
