Idols change over time. And with idols, dream jobs change as well.
I may not agree with all youtube, IG, ... -stars regarding their content - But if people like their content, they deserve to be paid like other entertainers.
A few weeks ago I heard the little eight-year old brother of a friend say something beautiful regarding this job: "When I am older, I want to be an influencer - Because than you can show other people what you like to do!"
I don't want to debate about the real meaning of influence or anything - but it's just beautiful how honest he was here. Nothing about money on the mind of that little boy - Just getting to do what he wants to do.
I think that could serve as message to many people here. Just share what you love and be authentic - There will for sure be other people who feel kind of the same and will support you.
Same in soccer bro :)
I think it's every area.
There are some players i think :"How can he be there? What he is playing I play with closed eyes!"
Some fans even think more extreme, what we see every weekend.
I also don't agree with all youtubers, but because I am not the target person for that kind of topic.
But the honesty of that little boy is exemplary. And I agree with you. Share what you love and be authentic, because you will do it also when you are facing hard times. It's like fuel which boosts us forward :)
