What do you guys want me to write + potential FREE STEEM!

in #steemit7 years ago

I seem to be missing the mark quite badly lately and I'm not sure why? Am I not writing things you guys want to read or are you bored of me already? Do you miss my posts because I'm posting at the wrong time of day for you? Am I asking too many questions?

If you are reading this drop me a comment and let me know what you would like to see me cover. I'll even write about things I know nothing about? If I pick your suggestion and I get 200+ votes on it I'll donate you some Steem. No idea how much yet, but I'll do it.

I finally have the time to write so tell me what to write and I'll write it!

Don't get discouraged over individual posts, because dry periods can come. :) If you are here for the long run and you stay consistent and you interact with other users, you'll succeed.
Maybe experiment with different topics, see what works better and what you enjoy writing about.

Thanks for the input. I was worried as I've not been posting as much as I wanted due to life!

I just happenned to write a piece about this subject, it is my last post. Please do not vote on it, I don´t want this to be taken as spam because I hate spammers but coincidentally I´ve seen that you post good content (I went to San diego comic ocn on 2009) and what I can tell you is this: Be more thorough on your writing, the topics are great, maybe just add more flavor and soul into them, that might be just what you need my friend. Read the post Im telling you, it might give you another viewpoint and that might just be what you need right now.

I will go have a read, thank you very much. I can at the very least upvote your comment for pointing me towards something that may help me out :)

Honestly, if there are people who bored of your post I really don't know why. Because you have high quality writing in your posts and I always enjoying myself everytime I read any of them and I'm pretty sure many others do too. But I just don't know how to... Tell things nicely in comments, that's why I don't drop comments so often.
But if you think you need to do/write something 'more', maybe... How about writing your own fictional story? It's just a suggestion, not a request from me that you have to write :)

Thanks dude. I'm just feeling a bit down on myself lately to be honest. I've been enjoying your stuff when I get to read it however my internet has been potato like lately. Maybe I will try some fiction, haven't written any for a long time (since high school) but it could be fun :D

If you are going to work on fiction, go check various posts by @rhondak. She and some others have started a fiction workshop. I am new to all this and don't have the time and energy to get into all the discord stuff right now, but I am sure you would find great resources there. I think a lot of this steemit stuff is very hit or miss.. I am having trouble getting my brain around it. But definitely check out the fiction workshop stuff. I know a few of the people involved from other mediums and they are definitely good contacts to have!

I love your username, BTW. I am also an avid reader... end up averaging a book or so a day. Maybe do some articles about what you like or dislike about books or what makes you pull a particular book off the virtual shelf....

That's a really great tip thanks @bex-dk, I will definitely look up @rhondak's posts. I've only just started on Discord but I go post my posts in the #teamgb tag in the PAL network. Apart from that I'm quite quiet there too, I sympathise on the energy thing.

Because I see you love books, so maybe you'll like to write your own story too. I'm glad that you enjoying my stuff, so thank you for that! And I hope you can get through whatever it is troubling you.
