my thoughts:
The witnesses get paid a lot for their job;
It's their responsibility to explain their decisions.
From my perspective, the witnesses operate too much behind the scenes and only with post like these they get involved.
There are at least 19 people who must understand those forks, because Steemit voted them as delegates.
And they all seem to support this update ...
For the future I would like to see more involvement by the witnesses;
Some seem to do a good job - Some don't seem to post anything on the frontend.
They don't have to agree with dan, ned or anybody.
Investor relations should be part of their job, as they run this place.
It's a decentralized plattform, please keep that in mind.
