That is exactly why Steemit "could" become bigger than most other cryptocurrencies eventually.
You don't need to really understand how these things work in order to earn money and YOU earn money from content rather than some business like Facebook.
Even pennies is better than nothing on Facebook etc. and there is the hope that the bigger your following the greater the future payouts will be.
My STEEM DOLLARS cleared and were available to do with whatever I so chose. I, again, met with @mada and started the arduous process of conversion to get this currency in to my checking account where I could spend it on the countless payments I was late on or in danger of missing.
If Steemit really takes off then the whole process may become a lot quicker and easier. Indeed you may end up being able to pay some of the bills etc using SBD.
Anyway I'm glad that it has made sense to you and been a positive experience.

Thanks @cryptofiend! I've always been fascinated by the phenomenon of making something out of nothing. I've been waking up daily with ideas for future columns, and even seeing or experiences things throughout the day that would make perfect Steemit blogs. I've see some movement on streamlining the exchanges. It's been an incredibly positive experience. I'm grateful @mada introduced me to it still in beta.
