Not too many reasons actually.

1. To be a more empowered curator. It's sad when the silly posts get all the $$ because they have big friends. Not that 200sp would be worth much, but still I could make one or two people know that someone saw their work and appreciated it.
2. To be able to post more. It's very annoying when I type something up and have to wait 5-6 hours for the "bandwidth limit exceeded error" to go away before I can post.
3. I'd like to be a silent supporter of some groups I've joined by upvoting their curation posts.
4. I'd vote for one or two of my articles that I feel are severely overlooked. Just being honest.
5. The feeling of having big(small yes, but big for me) SP and the mental encouragement to push harder to get to that level.

Why Do I Want This Steempower Delegation?

I need it for some good reasons.

First, I'm an active curator. I always try to upvote and resteem posts with really good content, from people who are actually starting on Steemit, and also from people with some experience. I don't ask no one for a retribution, I do it because I really want to help. So, having more Steem Power will allow me to help them a little bit more. You can find a prove of that taking a look at my profile.

Second, I'm in certain curation trails which support people with great content that aren't getting good success with their posts. If I have a good Steem Power level, I would be a good contribuitor for that causes.

Third, and why not, to have more Steem Power.

Receiving the delegation would allow me to use my own Steem Power to help out newcomers overcome the bandwidth issues they're facing, without losing my ability to give support to other newbies through my upvotes.

As a member of the #newbieresteemday initiative, I spend the bigger part of my time on Steemit educating and supporting newcomers.

I see a lot of them struggling with bandwidth issues, due to their lack of SP.
A delegation of 100SP for 15 days would allow me to help 2 people to get out of the bandwidth problem-zone. I would delegate 50 of my own SP to each, so they will be able to post without having to worry about running out of bandwidth, giving them a chance to make it on their own.

Since I'm currently giving out 'Newbie Nickles' (a $0.05 upvote for people with a reputation under 45) for every contestant in our @newbiegames contest, I can't afford to spend my own SP without being delegated some myself.

It would be awesome if I would be able to help some of them out.

Why I want the steempower delegation

I have been on steemit for about 3 months and I discovered that the higher one's steempower, the higher one's influence on this platform. Steempower is akin to influence on steemit.
Influence and in this case steempower, can be used for a whole lot of things; for maintaining order, rewarding and implicitly promoting good causes. So, personally, these are few reasons why I want the steempower delegation.

• I have on several cases seen many quality contents on this platform that were created by minnows, but these useful contents were not yielding commensurate rewards for them. This has made many to be frustrated and have left the community. I often assist with my $0.01 or most times $0 upvotes to show support, but this I feel is not enough to reward others. If I am however given the steempower delegation, I will generously upvote useful and quality contents to encourage the author, and probably the act may keep them on steemit.
• I regularly get comments on my post, and this encourages me. These followers will be better interested in me and my contents if I encourage them in return. If I am delegated the steempower, I will be able to profitably upvote my followers and commentors so that they will regularly visit my page and ultimately strengthen my follower base.
• I have had several things that I had wanted to do on the platform like creating several mediums where steemians can help others who are in health and financial challenges, but have not been able to because of my little influence. If however I am delegated the steempower, my influence and reputation will increase and I will be given a listening ear to carry out the good causes that I have in mind.
• Truthfully, I sure may upvote a few of my posts, but that will be only to give it an initial nudge if necessary. But it will be rare.
• I belong to several communities that assist minnows, given the delegation, I would also assist other minnows of these communities the same way I was assisted

My reason is this:
I want to build our own community here in Cagayan de Oro City,not just for my own but for the community, i want to see my fellow cagayano's being happy to have our own community. I really need it also to make our own Curation Trail in Steemauto .Lately we cagayano's have a meeting about making our comunity and the mean problem is the deligation of SP because we have no enough SP.

Guess im a longshot. I have been at it since oct. 2017. I enjoy blogging quite a bit. I feel i have quite a lot to share. I do support steem and have been promoting it everyday to everyone i know. I have the time to do this as i live a bohemian life with most of my needs met and a low lifestyle cost compared to my past. I am working towards a goal of live streaming in which i could present music lessons educating fundemantals of instrument technique in brass, woodwinds, and string. I follow the curation trail of #openmic using steemauto and in the past delegated steempower to the minnowbooster bot. I can see the benefits of bid voting but also see how it currupts the natural order of things. I am still in process of understanding the scope and depth within the reward system of steem, sp, and sbd. I believe in memes. It has been a starting point for many great steemians i know. Too many poor memes and a newbs reputation plummets. I have enjoyed welcoming newcomers in there introduceyourself posts.
