Like my title said "I have reached over 500 followers" , what does this mean? NOTHING! You want to know why? Ok, here's why......

If you had read this above post you would understand that having many followers don't mean a thing! Why? Because most of those people only followed you so you can follow them back. Most of them aren't even slightly interested in your posts, these are what I called spammers. Yes, you hear me right, most of your followers are most likely spammers that just wants you to follow them and upvote them.
I know reality hurts but it's better being real than to live in a lie, at least that is my philosophy in life.
With that being said, I think most of these spammers are from Nigeria and India to the best of my knowledge. I have noticed a significant payout drop since their presence became more noticeable.

Do you guys think there's a relationship to the recent dismal payouts to the explosion of these spammers/scammers? Do you think they are taking a huge chunk from the payout pool from people who actually makes legitimate posts? Please let me know in the comment section.
Also, for those of you who actually followed me and read my posts I owe you a big "THANK YOU!"

why to blame a whole country when only few people do the bad thing.I think you don't know how many people live in India and Im sure your country people too have few spammers and I too support people with original content.
sorry if I offended you, it is just what I've noticed. I don't know if it's coincidence but with the recent spammer explosion the payout seem to have dropped considerably.
You forget the chinese! However, I believe that all of this will self regulate as steemit evolves. Parasites always get put back in check. We are still in mode beta.
