Here are some reasons and personal opinion from my site, about this topic.

1. Steem and Bitcoin are nearly the same

All you wanna do with Bitcoin, can also be done with Steem. But the stock price of Steem is still now in a normal "frame". Otherwise Bitcoin, where one costs like 10,000$. That's not legit anymore. As long as the inquiry of Steem is still erhm... normal, then it makes sense to invest in it, because it has a chance to boom like Bitcoin, what refers to topic number 2:

2. Steem isn't old and expensive, it already starts to grow, so... invest!

Yeah, you heard right. Even though, it is still young, the interest getting higher and higher. It is easy to get (Right now, even without any money investment). And I know, the chart today (01/21/2018) shows that the current price is sinking, that's because no one really know, how to use the Steem right. Instead of investing, most of them get paying it out.

3. Steem is easy to use and user-friendly

As you can read from the title, Steem is easy to use, you don't need any hard programming skills to write a post here or so... Everyone can understand it quick and it makes a lot of fun to be on this website!

It is also good at this point, you can read all the posts from people around the world and even support them, without spending one real-money cent.

4. Invest your investment to earn more

Yes, as you can read in the header, the more earned Steem you invest in your account, the more you can get out of it. The best example is @Jerry Banfield, his account is like 630,000$ worth. That's whole a lot of money *puking

Conclusion:

Steem has got the potential to grow as fast and as big as Bitcoin, but to reach that, more should invest in Steem. The best way to do this, is telling your friends and push up each other and investing the earned Steem, so you get more powerful and earn more at the end and be one of the biggest member here on Steemit.
