This is an excellent post! And the tragedy of the commons will become the tragedy of Steemit, if there aren't more conscious Steemians such as yourself.
I think Steemit is still a relatively small community and this is a tragedy that can definitely be avoided at this size; but if it continues to grow, TeamSteem would have to change the structure.
