Swimming upstream in the steemit river can sometimes be exhausting. Take heart, and be encouraged. In the beginning stages this meme is probably true, but persevere. Continue writing your little fishy heart out and you'll get those followers! Your effort WILL pay off!

It did feel like that in the beginning. Spent two whole weeks trying to get noticed. But look at me now. Two weeks, 1k postings, and 180 followers it feels to go easier and easier. Very happy I started grinding it out over the past time and hope more and more people will as well!
