Please sound off in the comments, because I want to know if I'm the only one experiencing these problems.
The last time this happened, they were doing major updates, including a complete redesign, so I wonder if that's what's going on again behind the scenes.
If you have any bigwig witness friends, ask them if something is going on.
Maybe they are finally rolling out that update, which is supposed to make sign-ups easier, or something like that anyway.

I am struggling with upvoting posts, the spinner keeps on spinning but I haven't tried to create a blog post or anything like that. Right now as I write this comment I can see the spinner circling furiously but struggling to cast a vote. I will refresh the page and try again ;)

It's very annoying, but hopefully we can get through this faster than the last time it happened.
Exactly. The spinner spins for longer. Sometimes it doesn't even complete the activity.
not just you. lots of timeouts and my apps are struggling to retrieve data.
Shit, okay then, now at least I know... sometimes this happens on Steemit and it's extremely annoying.

Ha ha, yeah, the trick is during times like this, is after you up-vote, give it 3 seconds, and then just refresh... it should be there when you do.

Yep, same here, so make sure if you write a post or comment, that you copy and paste the content into notepad, this way you won't lose all your work if it bugs out on you.

I faced issues resteeming a post. Nothing much since then.
I haven't re-Steemed anything lately, but everything else is buggy as hell this morning, and hopefully it is situated soon.
We start to find negatives once we discuss it. Now even I'm facing issues up voting or commenting on posts. It has become way too slow.
Pretty sure Steemit is working fine this morning, but I just logged on, so give me a few.
I only use busy.org and everything fine here
Busy.org is cool, but I just don't have a reason to use it. Spend almost all of my time here on Steemit, and sometimes I use DTube, but it is hella buggy as well.
Well, I just can´t get used to the steemit interface - it feels like using one of these blogging platforms from 15 years ago^^ Ok, it´s all a matter of taste, but busy is much more modern and has an intuitive UI - for me that´s more than enough to use it...

I think this depends on the issues. I see this more like an API thing - so it can be, that while you are using e.g. the facebook app on your phone, it can have issues, that you won´t experience on the desktop version and vice versa... same here... as for now, I only had very few issues with busy at all
