a story about an UPVOTE EVIL corporation and resistance that fighting for Justice and rights of regular steemanians
in the near future on a planet "steemit"
a Civil War gave birth to modern decentralized government the planet was controlled by the people, and a small group called "witness" were selected by the steemanians are the last line of defense that fight for the name of all steemanians rights.
steemit is the only place on the galaxy where no regular jobs, every steemanian can do whatever they wish and can display their work to other steemanian and get paid for their work, a place where creativity and good content is in more value than gold, and every steemanian can decide who they give their vote for their work, and every vote is worth money.
since steemit is a huge place, and steemainas getting paid by displaying their work to other steemanians it's hard to get noticed for your great work, so witness created a place where no metter how rich you are or your social status, as long as you have a great content it will be displayed to all steemit planet, and they call that place: "THE TRENDING PAGE".
meanwhile a corporation "upvotes bots" was introduced to the public, that helping people to get into "THE TRENDING PAGE", with a time this corporation got owned by a group of wealthy and rich people and a good corporation became an evil, and for the average steemanians it almost impossible to use this, and a "trending page" become only a dream place for them.
Every day it just gets worse and worse and steemit became a place where The rich get richer and the poor get poorer
a small and brave resistance group was created by the brave leader @heimindanger to fight the evil corporation and to clean the trending page from all the trash to give a chance to real people of the community to express their self and to be heard because only trash was on the trending list, and they decided to do something.
over a time people noticed that they can't use bots because it's controlled by the rich people, so steemanians was introduced to a new tool that can help them to promote their self wthout using upvotes bots. the "RE-steem" service that can be created by anyone where you can share your work with other steemanians unlike upvotes bot for pennies.
but with a time "re-steem" services became abused a lot of scams and not good services, and spamming steemanians with "PROMOTE YOUR POST: SEND 1 SBD and URL in a memo to @eatourspam to 100,000 followers and blah blah blah...." since no organized place to list your self as resteem where everybody could see you, its a wild west.
and once again a tool that created to help average steemanians, became a menace, and instead of helping it's doing the opposite.
in a far place in a small village lived a small and a hard working steemanian @toresto he was working hard, and he as many other steemanian dreamed to be on the trending page
but "Evil upvoteBots corporation" not the only problem every day passing steemit are getting closer and closer with all this chaos to face another war the "RESTEEM WAR" he decided to do something before "resteem" will become like evil upvotes bots corporation, he was working for weeks on a solution, until finaly he did it. and he created the
#resteemclub a place where Order Come Out of Chaos.
after working hard on this he like all other steemanian know that no matter how much Good intentions he had for helping newbies and the community, without paying some money to evil corporation "upvote bots" his work will not be seen by no one.
so he managed to squeeze his last 200$ from the monthly salary that he barely could effort because he knew that unfortunately, this was the only way people could see what he did for the community.
meanwhile, a resistance was fighting the evil bot corporation and downvoting everyone who used upvote bots for the name of clean trending page and good content, a fight for all of us, so the average steemanians like @toresto, will have a chance to be noticed for their work.
operation "clean the trash" for the name of a good content, the noble knights of the roundtable were hunting and downvoting everyone without even looking if the content is good or not they thread every one like a trash, all for the name of "good content on trending page" against the "evil upvote bots corporation", and Innocent steemanians got shot in a crossfire between them, and @toresto was one of them
why I did this short story?
3 days ago I released this tool that will help steemanians to find good resteem service, and resteem services to promote their self for free, unfortunately since the steemit system had this flaws only if you paying money to upvote bots you can get into the trending page , @heimindanger created a tool to clean the trending page from trash content because most of the content is promoted with bots(whales got money to spend!) he did it so an average steemanins and newbies will have a chance to get into a trending list and clean it from trash by downvotingand I was mad that they downvoting everything without looking at person content, and I was one of the people that got downvoted because I was on the trending page but before writing this story I was emotional since I worked hard on that project and maybe I was complaining at first but thru reading the comments I now more educated if I wasn't complaining I never learned that, so in my opinion, this is a good progress and I think more people that got burned using bot votes need to put their emotions to the side and opened up to another side, and try to understand the root couse why they doing this, instead of looking at each other as a bully.
I hate the idea that you need to pay for your own content in a place where you need to be paid for that, that is stupid its a Ponzi scheme
but I understand that this how the system work and I just play along and that's not good I admit that but now I understand the other side as well and why they don't read posts before downvoting and that because: steemit community need to be educated not to use bots and it doesn't matter what good content you have, if people not educated it will never be stopped and all the steemanians will be used to fact that the trending page is only for money
and I think it's a win/win situation and most importantly now that I more educated about that I will continue the footsteps and tried to educate other.
Wow! This is just awful. It's even worse that a witness is involved. I read your post. You are doing great work. You might be even worthy of being a witness compared to someone who flag without even reading a post. That's just sick.

@d-zero all this steemit decentralization reminding me online games where you have a "PVP" option
player vs player and gamers that are playing this game before other players have a high experience,
and they just killing other players because they can and they can't do anything to them because of low experience.

the problem is that not that people using bots but that you see the same people on trending page and they abuse the system to get there using the bots
and only trash is on the trending page, don't you think if it's a good content it deserves to be noticed?
No, I completely agree with you there and have no problem with using upvote bots on decent content. However you called upvote bots "evil" and resteem bots "abused" but then you used both on this post. I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to mention that.
True, but I just provided one screenshot. Your first 5 most valuable upvotes came from upvote bots, and I'm sure there are plenty other paid upvotes.

Again I agree with that (and do it often myself). I was just pointing out the irony that you called upvote bots evil and then you used them yourself.

Outstanding!...It was like sitting in a cinema and watching all those good movies where the Good and the Villain were playing their role.
