RE: The only resteem tool You'll Ever Need

in #steemit7 years ago

@jga dude your work is awesome thank you for creating steem activity, I think I will release it as open source after I finish the beta testing, this tool is created for community and I want first to hear suggestion do Q/A listening what the community needs, and release it as a finished project, but I not sure yet if I release as open source but I definitely was thinking doing so, and thank you for creating this awesome tool I love it, and hopefully as you said it's like steembottracker for resteem, and my and your work will be adopted globably by the users i think they both fit like a glove.

One suggestion, @andybets has developed a tool to see if an account is a bot, human or spammer. Look here. Then a column telling us how many HUMANS are following the resteem service could be very useful!!

this is intresting I will defentaly take a look, I just wonder why I got serval downvotes but not a single comment from those people saying what they didn't like, and the interesting part is that they all have same resteemed posts on there feed, you think it's something personal against the tool maybe someone feeling threatened by this project?

because I can't really find a reason to downvote when someone releasing a project for steemit community and especially work like yours and mine where it's for free and we not getting anything for return.

It is not against your tool, read this and also the comments.
The problem is that you used upvoting bots to reach the trending page and they don't like this.

It is very likely that they have not read it either (it's probably a massive flag to many posts). I have to admit that when I read the title I thought: "resteem bla bla... resteem services are bullshit". But a detailed look has shown me that you have done a very good job.

I hate bots but they part of the game and while some people "hunting" and downvotes steemit user for using bots they not understanding that the only thing they do is hurting the community and not helping

I understand if you abusing but when you a newbie that after hard work earned those pennies and decided to use this to get your post notice, after putting hard work and heart.

when downvoting someone who is not a whale it's hurting new user to develop their self on steemit why? because they probably can't downvote a whale and the only thing it creates is that regular users or newbies who finally did some small earning from their posts and want to promote their self a little( this just part of the game) getting down lower and lower in the list while whales are getting on top of the list because they have huge steempower

and those "hunters" not affecting them, they keeping using bots while newbies and other steemit authors get their earning taking away from them because using bots.

so eventually we will see only whales on trending lists and hot section

the problem is that they do not even look at your content as you said.

My suggestion is that you must understand the context in which Steemit is at this moment (much dislike of the way in which the pool is distributed).

The use of bid bots is something delicate and that is why you have to be careful.

For this reason, it is best to seek growth that is not so ambitious, but rather to gain people little by little. Utopian is a good place where you can expose your work and be well seen and paid.

this is what I do when publishing my regular posts but I thought I worked here hard and it's not a post it's a programming project I worked for weeks to develop as simple as it may look so the regular way this time won't work I need as much exposure as I can get
by the way, I never been on Utopian is it like github but based on steem blockchain?

Utopian is a community of steem for software developments (open source)... many whale have delegated Steem Power to utopian, then it has a lot of power.

When you post, your contribution has to be approved by a moderator... if it is approved then you will get a vote from utopian... you have to follow some rules... they explain them in https://utopian.io/

I was at first mad because of downvotes, but now I understand why they do this, if people continue to get into trending page because they using bots no matter how good your content, than how people will get educated that using both the first place is not good, and new users will know that the only way to get into the trending list is to pay money.
