Users! Users! Users!

We need to get everyone on this blue plant a steem account.

  1. Reduce the registration waiting time to 0.
Let user register their account right away, their user name maybe pending, but they will be able to post and vote right away. During this waiting period (could be 3 weeks at the moment), steemit will delegate some SP to them and receive all their rewards. This is important to prevent abuse.
  2. Let unregistered user vote and post.
Again, steemit delegates the SP to them and receives all the rewards.

These two changes will enable more user get involved without significant efforts. At the same time, prevent abuse since none fully registered accounts won’t really make money.

There definitely seems to be a hurdle to joining, and is precisely why more have not joined. Some people will just not be intimidated through a complex process or lack of understanding. Remember the KISS method?

Using votes and whale bots ruin it..

Great post agree 💯👍

I've been looking for a good basics/tutorial to explain steemit to friends that are youtube and facebook influencers, trying to get them to join steemit too, do you know of a good article explaining the basics?

I don’t remember which one is good. But search “how steemit works” on YouTube should give you many results

Thanks, I'm going to see what I can put together between tonight and tomorrow and will post it in this thread.

good post
