Yesterday evening October 16, 2018 was a big day for YouTube. They not only went dark for a while but as many YouTube users now say the reason was to cleaning up one very specific video from all over the network. They not only clean the video that was very popular but also they deleted the channel of the guy who posted it. The video wasn’t a scam as YouTube said in their official letter to the user. The channel was a researcher channel and had dozens of amazing high quality footage of the moon. The video that was so hot on the YouTube was showing the moon being “sliced” by a wave or some sort of a glitch.
It is really hard to see on the picture below the crossing wave however if you’ll see the video below from another user explaining what happened, you cannot notice that wave. It is something unnatural and something spectacular to see. Not only this one user record astronomical event like this but there were dozens of other users who record all together more than 30 videos with the same effect.
I truly believe that the YouTube will get darker and darker with their censorship and sooner or later channels like this will be deleted.
It is time to rise steemit community and make a big mark on the freedom of speech and freedom of spreading the news, the true news that is so easily censored by big private companies like YouTube. Personally I’m glad I found a social network like this that it’s free of any kind of censorship. I hope this time it will continue to be the way they are and support all the users as best as they can.
Go and check out that video as well as all the drama that went along with it.
I hope you find this article interesting. If you do please share it.
Be blessed and be a blessing.
Looks to me like a glitch in an electronic telescope.
