Nice idea, upvote option should be shown if you read the content. That way no one can upvote without at least open the article.

If you click the article on the front page, you'll have the same option to upvote the content as it is now, and I can't see any problems with that at all actually. That will encourage everyone to produce high quality content at all times. - Sure, some of the potential rewards will most likely decrease, but it will increase higher quality content.
