OK, I checked steemit.com from my android tablet. I got facebook connect, facebook impressions, and google analytics.
Since steemit.com is only one way to access the steemit blockchain over the web and the blockchain is a separate being unto itself. Maybe using one of the other websites would be better with respects to privacy.
I'll do some further experiments and post about them when I get the time.
BTW, I noticed that the steemit.com page has share by facebook, twitter, and linkedin. Maybe something going on there?
