RE: Content Crusaders: The Fight to Save Steemit Will Fail

in #steemit8 years ago

It should be understood that it is most definitely possible that content can still be quite valuable without necessarily being an original creation of the user (though it would be an improvement to "personalize" such material with footnotes or other similar alterations). Sometimes there are articles that contain information that someone may feel should be known to their peers and it is not feasible to be the original contributor; yet it is still valuable on the grounds that readers would otherwise remain ignorant and/or the original contributor's inability to be the provider of the material directly to all individuals (which proves the restribution of his material by others is actually most beneficial for his purpose of maximizing potential appreciation).

For the subject of sports, this will be commonplace. One may not have the luxury of attending a game so as to be able to directly share the experience, but he may know someone outside of the community who did and now he is able to facilitate the information to those who find the knowledge useful.
