I am a week or so into Steemit, and have read for about 6 hours about the engine and balance.....and "nearly get it" from a summary noob type of view. I worked within large software system architecture for a decade, so I can only imagine how crazy it all looks to people not tech-savvy.

But, one can just post and enjoy for months, and super slowly learn about the engine and balance.
