Hey, this post is for people new to steemit and for those of you who are not yet using steemit. Are you new to the crypto world and don't know a hardfork from a blockhain or why people keep spelling it hlod? Or you don't want to risk money on something that can be very risky? Don't worry. There are lots of sites and games that are coming out that will give you coins as you play or use their network. If you are new to crypto please be VERY CAREFUL with your money if you chose to invest. There were people who bought bitcoin at 20k only to watch it plummet to 6k. That is a major loss. Only invest money you can lose and treat it as you would going to the casino.
Or even better do not spend you money at all on something you are new to. This is why I recommend steemit. You can earn coins for posting about whatever you want. Literally. It is a blog/social media site that is free to use and when you are upvoted you can get coins for it. Don't care about the coins? Use the site anyway as there are some awesome people like me on it :p. Think of the coins are points in a video game and if the price sky-rockets, hey, bonus, you can cash them out. If it plummets to zero, hey, they were just points. Its win/win.
Steemit is a safe way to make coins without risk as are other apps that are coming so make an account, post about your hobbies and see what the fuss is about.
And if you are new send me a hi.

Wow this is a fantastic post ! Thanks for your good advise and awareness of invest money ,i appreciate you.
Steemit can help elevate poverty in poverty striking countries. It is a really progressive tool for earnings
Steem is the PLATFORM that brings the STEEM!
I'm stoked to be able to invest my time and energy in this idea and this coin without going the extra mile and investing from my bank account. I find it incredible. I have been curious in my short time here about, as you say: "other apps that are coming". Do you see particularly good up-and-coming rivals for the steem blockchain apps/steemit? Are any half as well developed as this platform?
@whatageek: Agree with you to 100% , this is the main reason I started on steemit because I'm new to cryptcurrencies and I don't want to risk my money. The advantage here is really, that it is riskfree and you can write about your interests and get to know interesting people and have lots of fun:-)))) And if steemit will be of precious value - fine, that's an additional bonus;-))
thanks for the information from you may be successful always.
Brother, I hope your tutorial is very good!
That's 100% right : just because you're here, it's worth it !
The video-game analogy is just perfect, and that's the way I see it also. Steem are "GOLD" and reputation is "XP"...
Nice post
Interesting post
Hi, I'm new on Steemit and I'm wondering what tips you would have for getting more engagment on posts.
But ya steem's a great place to build into rather than invest in when starting out by the looks of it.
You're right, I started with steemit and the experience has been rewarding. I am very grateful because this platform has been a great boost for me and I recommend it to anyone who wants to start in the world of cryptocurrency
I agree with you in your approach, in steem you do not lose, you can produce until you get good capital in which you can risk part of it in trying another way to earn cryptos.
Yes, steemit is reallt the perfect place to start for people like me who wants to know about cryptocurrency. Thank you for this, @whatageek!
Agree with you. Im an occasional blogger in blogger.com and when my cousin introduced me to steemit.com, i thought why not do something that i like ie: blogging and get rewarded at the same time... Been in steemit.com for only a month and Im glad that I did bcos I get to 'meet' awesome people and similar minded geeks like you in this growing community :-)
