When the price goes down the community gets grumpy and conflict tends to break out. That is fine, it will work it's way out.
* terrible art that is in bad taste for so many reasons... (a cut and paste mess, created by me.)
In the meantime, I just wanted to take a minute and remind those who see this, while yes we do have a lot of issues, we also have some pretty important strengths.
WE ARE AHEAD - BUT NOBODY KNOWS IT.
Steem is already setup to be more usable, user friendly and convenient than other successful tokens.
We spend a lot of time fighting over a couple of Applications on the Steem Blockchain and forget our strengths... As a currency Steem functions better than many other coins.
(What makes us different and better?)
- User Concept is working (I didn't say perfectly)
- One of the busiest Blockchains in the Market
- You don't need to know how to mine to earn Steem.
- There are many ways to earn Steem, blogging, vlogging, singing, writing, programming, investing, developing, hunting cheaters, selling or renting your investment, there will many more we haven't thought of yet.
- We have usernames we can remember
- We have free transactions and they are fast!
- We have a platform to support our message and an easy way to distribute it.
- We have started to build a middle class
- The economy has already broadened past the original vision.
The value of Steem is multi-faceted and Steemit is just one of the tools that can increase the value. New platforms are already being developed and there are many in the pipeline as well.
The business case now is about adding projects not perfecting SteemIt
How do we talk about the blockchain and it's technology in a manner that is digestible to the average person?
There are many brainstorming activities out there used by Corporations, to assist with gathering this information.
If I were doing it I would start by interviewing our end-users, (noobs through experts) looking for simple, clear explanations, I would look for consistent words that many people use, and then I would try to talk to others using those terms and reinforce others who adopt it as well. After all we are a community built on new users who are learning anyway, no harm in standardizing our language some. (This effort requires those with influence to adopt it)
SteemIt is a proof of concept. As well as an education tool for "the masses". Let's use it!
Get out there and fight and earn, but don't forget this is only Prologue to the future of the Steem Blockchain.
* I reused some pieces of this post originally published on SteemIt and flagged by Bernie. (lol, I don't remember what I did, but I am sure I egged him on) It's an old post, but worth a read. :) (if I do say so myself)

omg i almost died from the pict of hair pulling.
lol, it's pretty funny, Dan's head was a problem. :)
Yeah, I get that a lot! :)
LMFAO!
dans head is always a problem.
is it wrong to make this comparsion?
I totally believe that the future for Steemit is bright, glad i bought some more recently.
That picture... I had to really look to see that the faces were inserted in. Such good work.
As for Steemit, I think many people don't realise they are sitting on a goldmine. We are the early birds, the first pioneers...
Friggen hang in there dammit!

You're so right with the conceptualized of the differente methods which we can earn steem, the chances are just so many.
But however even the whales can't deny that the price of Steem isn't worrisome, we just have to keep walking down it like back in the days
Oh yeah, I have my moments of doubt and fear also. Crypto's in a slump and we all need some good news. I think I put this together to remind myself as much as anyone else.
Of course lol, encouraging others will also do same for you, nice here, I'm glad you put this up
This platform is as all others a work in process, the cryptoshpere has a major advantage in that it has rolled out faster than all prior changes in history... momentum is key.
I'm not here for a very long time, but I believe that the long-term success of Steemit will depend mostly on two factors:
I've never once googled... "High-quality content", that struck me on the very first day I joined.
Back then everyone wrote little essays with perfectly spaced paragraphs, it was as boring as could be.
You're right, Steemit is the best out there! The photo is damn funny!
is that hair pulling a result of low steem price depression? :P
wow very excellent
haha damn! it's soOoo funny :D
yeah so true . nice article bro. really it makes sense. nice educative post it really helps users a lot. we have seen 1.5$ SBD we are going to witness 100$ for SBD by 2020 for sure .
I got in free, don't really know crypto and didn't know the price was low. That number next to your name, in brackets (69) has meaning for me only as juvenile humour. I'm quite happy with the place so far. If I understand correctly, this bit of nonsense could live permanently in the blockchain. We live in marvelous times.
About adding projects...I wish I could help. If I can help from the noob end, give me a nudge!
I agree with you !! one should really work hard by concerning the pros at the down times . Steemit really has a bright future , one who believes it can reap the fruits . Btw loved your cut and paste pic ;)
Hmm... Yeah...steemit is best and different....💪💪
