Yeah, big surprise there, right? Steem Guild guys and meta-curation posts. How interesting and refreshing and totally based on the subjective opinions of and allocation by “the community!”
I think most people are aware and probably in agreement by now:
Trending is the worst aspect of this interface.
It’s not going to change any time soon. Maybe Steem 2.0 can offer better alternatives for social media. I’m not sure this one can be salvaged if the “leadership” doesn’t change. And there’s no sign that it will.
I feel the same about this comment and a lot of David's writing and overall work.

Yes - someone called it circle-jerking. i think it's a very apt word to describe this kind of voting. A lot of self-abuse as well ;-)

lol, true. I am all for good content, I think pretending it is the bidding bots messing with that is either not seeing the real picture or disingenuous. It is one fixed system vs. the other. :)
