RE: My first post on steemit

Welcome to SteemIt. The site is built on a blockchain; so you need to examine your account on SteemD.com (This is a site by the developers which shows all of your actions on the blockchain):

https://steemd.com/@nh53019

The resources available to your account is determined by the amount of STEEM POWER you have. The system "delegates" 15 SP to new accounts.

Resources regenerate at a rate of 20% a day. So, you have enough resources to write about 12 posts in a five day period.

That is only two posts a day.

The upvote calculator shows you the value of a vote from an account with a given amount of SP. Type in 15000 and you see a vote for an account with 15000 SP is worth $0.53. Divide by 1000 and you see that your upvote is worth less than a tenth of a penny.

Voting is the primary means for social networking on the site. Each vote reduces your voting power by 2%. It regenerates at 20% a day. So you can do about ten upvotes a day.

Don't bother voting on your own account.

Judging from your other post, my guess is that you already are investing in crypto.

If you like this platform; the smart move is to buy a couple hundred STEEM then power up. Powering up converts your STEEM to STEEM POWER. This freezes the money in your account. It takes 13 weeks to power down.

Good luck on SteemIt.
