The world around us is in a constant state of decay which requires constant upkeep to maintain the standards of which we live, entropy is inevitable and it is only by our consistent efforts do we manage to live in a society of such a high standard.
It is a crazy place, this earth, always seemingly divided on itself in a never-ending tilling of ideas, peoples, and ideas. Have things ever been different for us as a species? When man first discovered fire surely there was some argument in where to place to fire and what its role should be, is it nature that determines these roles in our society, or is it the will of those who fight that determines how things belong?
I often wonder to myself where things went wrong with our society that prevents us from marching over the natural forces that keep us as a species in check, is it our inability to put differences aside momentarily so we as a species can reach out towards the heaven so we can conquer them, Or are these differences just a result of the natural forces that have kept our species in check and within the ebb and flow of nature itself?
One can't help but wonder what lead to the diversification of our species that causes these differences to arise, anthropology tells us that these changes were due to selective pressures brought upon by our environment, which makes sense, but if we are to follow this train of thought to its destination, how can be hold upon the ideal that we are "one race" if we acknowledge that different environmental pressures lead to a diversification of our species into many races?
Is it wrong to say that one flower in a rose garden smells better, or is prettier than the others? I wouldn't believe so, the real argument is whether there are any objective measures to judge a flower to say that one is better than the other.
A great deal of strife in recent times has come about due to people taking objective measures upon the humans and their many races; one group, observes that certain races have "out performed" others in the measure of creating a habitable free society; and another group refuses to acknowledge any of these differences and instead finds excuses to level the playing field in an attempt to rationalize reality within their egalitarian worldview.
But I must ask those who fit within the second section of persons, if you are planting a garden, do you not pull out the weeds to ensure your garden isn't choked out of its valuable nutrients and sunlight? Its not that the weeds in ones garden are evil, its just that they do not belong there, and must be removed in order to have a healthy crop or beautiful flowers.
On the other hand, what differs a weed from a wildflower?
Depending who you ask it is in the location of the plant.
In all of this we must learn from our mistakes and differences, and grow as a result of learning.
And ultimately it is nature herself that determines how the chips fall, or is it?
I'll let you be the judge of that.
