There are people joining steemit everyday and this tells us that we're growing but apart from the numbers that are added, how many of them are willing to remain? I've invited about 4 or more people to steemit, they got excited and signed up but they didn't remain because they though it was difficult getting audience to upvote their posts even after they've spent hours making original posts.
2018 will see the growth of steemit if only we help ourselves in this community. Not everyone is strong willed, most people are not. Let's encourage ourselves and upvote our posts especially minnows(I guess that's what they're called). Thanks
Success on steemit is not instant. It takes time. Its a community type of thing. You will have to first build bonds here. You will have to build friendly relationships first. It is after that people will succeed. Patience is the key. It took me 2 months to come where i am today. Many are here since 1 year. They all stayed here patiently and are working hard to achieve their goals.
The main problem on steemit is content discovery. It is very difficult to get discovered. One way to promote your content is to participate in comment section of smeemit. If people like your comment they will come to your posts and if they like your post they will upvote it. Another way is to participate in contest. This is the best way to earn followers.
