Do you want to write a post which is trending, hot and maybe earns you a $100? Me too. But after spending here 7 months and generating content and UNIQUE photos I just don't get it, how to do it.
Do you know how?
I promoted steemit in Bristol, made thousands of photos, travelled and made nice articles about the places I have been but none of them brought attention. Sometimes the longer posts got fewer likes than anything. I have used @randowhale and @minnowbooster but without investing I hardly made 10.
It is not jealousy and not a complain but I have no idea what to do and how. I just keep posting about the things that I feel important and the audience will hopefully find me.
I thought upvoting commenteers will help to grow...I always try to upvote the comments on my blog but in the recent times somebody drops a comment without upvoting, he/she surely won't get any back. If I like something and I comment, I upvote as well.
Interesting historical site? Biggest street art festival in Europe? London, Budapest? They are not so interesting for some maybe because I am not so excentric to put my face on every photo, and I am not a pretty girl either. I am a blogger and always been, I generate content so the site can grow. Looks like I stopped. Have no idea which way to go, it looks like a dead end for me...

What I have heard from my Steem power users is to keep posting to the "top trending". I think "steem" and "life" are two of them right now. These keep changing of course. (I'm sticking with posting about "beer" for now. we all love beer right ? :)
I don't think it will help. All of my posts which is more than 1500- comments, so like 500 posts was properly tagged but did not help at all.
It's tough out here man, but hang on. Have faith that just making some cents on each post will pay off bigtime as steem token continues to appreciate as more and more users adapt to a new social media platform. This thing right now is like Facebook was when you needed an invite to join. Can you imagine how much money is going to flow through here if Steemit ever becomes even half as popular as Facebook? Dang the potential is crazy!
I think steemit will be never as big as FB, because if you post here you want rewards in $ not likes. And if they are not coming, you will not post here. Simple. But yes, persistence is the key, all made more than on other sites for sure...
I am still relatively new to steemit, so I don’t personally feel like I am to the point where I deserve a trending post, but considering the time and effort you have seemed to put in, I hope you someday get s trending post!
