About non native speakers ... Once in a conversation about language translations and concept communications, A guy told me that the sentence 'Throw some hay over the fence to feed the cows', when translated in french, it came out as 'Throw the cow over the fence some hay".
So I notice these kinds of things from non (English) natives, but the spin creations ...I believe you are right, is completely different, as I have seen some very strange sentence structures. (mine included)
