I just started water color this year. My very own goal is to make a portrait using this medium. But I don't trust my self much to start creating one.
It took me months before trying. I was afraid to disappoint my self that it wouldn't be successful. Or I can't do this.
Until the day I gained trust in myself. So I immediately try it!
First, I sketched Kim Taehyung with the help of grid for it to be more accurate. Honestly speaking, I was doubting while sketching. I thought that I can't make it.
Then I started making the skintone. This is my very first time doing this kind of painting so I can't create an accurate skintone.
Watercolor needs a very longgggg pantience. Good thing I have atleast longg patience hahahaha and I don't have hair drier to make it quick to dry so yas.
Adding more layers and details. I was nervous in adding details because I might ruin it. I was staring at it and thinking very well where I put and how strong I should paint. Lips got me so nervous hahahaha
Adding the eyes. I ruined it lmao. I love making eyes but I'm not good hahahaha
I forgot to capture the hair process hahaha.
I doubt adding the hair because I don't know if I can do it without ruining the face or it might end up being other person. But I still try. I add the base first from light to dark. Then this is the result :D
And tadaaaaa~ Here is the result :)
I will practice more and moreeee to improve my skills :D
Open for tips and advices just comment :)
THANKYOU SO MUCH 😄
Woff, woff!
Hello @ishang, Nice to meet you!
I'm a guide dog living in KR community. I can see that you want to contribute to KR community and communicate with other Korean Steemians. I really appreciate it and I'd be more than happy to help.
KR tag is used mainly by Koreans, but we give warm welcome to anyone who wish to use it. I'm here to give you some advice so that your post can be viewed by many more Koreans. I'm a guide dog after all and that's what I do!
Tips:
Unfortunately, Google Translate is terrible at translating English into Korean. You may think you wrote in perfect Korean, but what KR Steemians read is gibberish. Sorry, even Koreans can't understand your post written in Google-Translated Korean.
I sincerely hope that you enjoy Steemit without getting downvotes. Because Steemit is a wonderful place. See? Korean Steemians are kind enough to raise a guide dog(that's me) to help you!
Woff, woff! 🐶
