For this evenings first release from the Shinedojo archives is a match between @danaedwards and @jiujitsu.
This is a great cooperative sparring match. However, if you ever have the chance to spar with @danaedwards watch the crossface! It's a killer for sure!
@jiujitsu does a great job sparring with all ranks and sizes. One thing that has definitely kept me very interested in the sport. Let's face it, sparring all the time and just getting crushed by everyone is not fun. I understand that Bjj teaches us to control larger opponents, and it works on people that aren't as familiar. If your training partner is much larger and more skilled but not mindful for his/her strength that makes for a bad time.

Nice roll. Technical, very good hip movement keep it up! Loved the mat setup aswell.
The mats do for now. The aren't very thick, pretty dense and hard, the surface isn't really slick. It's a great starter mat set though. In the near future we are going to have to upgrade mats when the training comes back to the dojo. My body couldn't take grappling on those mats anymore, it hurts enough on the good 2 inch thick mats. lol These would be more of a good workout surface, not so much a grappling. The size was enough for one group to grapple, or we could get 2 groups drilling.

Love the tatamis plopped in the middle of the living room. I have a similar set up at home and when not in use they stack neatly next to the fridge. I invested in some Zebra mats a while back and couldn't be more happy. They're nice and thick and enable me to set up shop whenever I want. Cool video, nice and technical!
