It is indeed @janton - a VERY different place to the rest of SA. As far as I am concerned you can KEEP the rest of SA. Cape Town on the other hand is magnificent.

Agreed @janton and yes, there is a LOT of talk as well as action moving towards that - whether or not it will ultimately be successful is another thing entirely... we can dream... but time will tell. :)

yes Ma'am absolutely and I had no idea how bad it was there until reading so many things about it on Steemit, otherwise I wouldn't have known. The news media here never says a word about it so I'm thankful for this platform in that regard, among others of course.

yeah it is bad, but some VERY interesting news has just come to the forefront today.... PRECISELY in the regard of which we have been speaking.... this is going to get INTERESTING to say the least!

The flag went up at 11h00 on today, 16 July 2018. According to King Khoebaha Calvin Cornelius III the Cape seceded from South Africa and is now an independent state.
