To make your life easier, I created a Chrome Extension which will allow you to quick jump to any user page on SteemitBoard.
How it works:
1. Install the Chrome Extension
The extension is available on the Chrome Webstore
Once installed, the SteemitBoard Viewer extension will appear as a small button on the right of your address bar.
2. Use from steemit.com website
@ character), it will activate and highlight the button.If you are browsing the https://steemit.com website, the extension will monitor your browser URL and if this one contains a valid username (something starting with the
By clicking on the extension’s button, it will open the related user’s page on SteemitBoard in a new tab.
You do not need to be on one of the user’s page for the extension to work. It also works in posts and comments.
In the example above, I am viewing a comment left by @dantheman
The SteemitBoard Viewer extension is highlighted because:
- you are on the
steemit.comwebsite - the URL contains a user name
(if the URL contains several user names, only the first one will be used by the extension)Clicking on the extension button will bring us to the SteemitBoard.com page of @dantheman.
We are now on @dantheman page, and the SteemitBoard Viewer button is now disabled because we left the steemit.com website.
3. The extension also works with steemdb.com

ATTENTION!
installing browser extensions for Steemit can be potentially really dangerous. Extension in theory could go to your wallet and withdraw your STEEM and SBD.
I am not saying that this is what happening in that case, but such extensions should be audited and installed in a way, that it won't be able to be updated later on demand , by developer.

I have 13 Steemit extensions and NOT a one has caused me any issues.

Well done!!!Many thanks to @arcanage ! This app has added virtual and psychological value to my being. I see my steemit life on steemitboard.com and I'm able to evaluate myself and aim for a higher gold cup. Those virtual rewards of gold cups are really good. My next goal is to get 70 posts so that I can get the first gold cup. Isn't that awesome?

Looks very cool, Thanks for your hard work & creative genius! Now all we need is a Twitch clone on steemit hmmm... Also the ability to possibly add some type of HTML widgets, my hope would be that someone develop a steemit version of the good old MySpace before Facebook was even a line of code... miss them days of adding widgets, etc. Maybe a freeform type of website creator, like a drag & drop website builder for personal, professional websites that would be amazing!

You should create an option for us to add any steemit front-end to the extension, for example I very much dislike steemit.com and choose to use SteemPeak for all my Steeming needs. Sometimes I use splintertalk.io as well but since that UI is based on Steemit, I am usually only there to check reward history.
Anyways, keep up the good work!
