I lived down in the St. Pete area for a short time, boated a bunch on the Gulf. Played some hockey down there, you have to drive an hour at least to find a rink LOL

I'm not to far from St. Pete. Love the warm Gulf water. Its like a big bathtub lol. Haven't seen a rink anywhere lol
Well, I lived on the water at Madeira Beach. I played semi pro beach v-ball in my younger days and retired at 32. Similar for my baseball.
I had to drive to Ulmerton/19th wayyy up the coast North -- towards Clearwater there, and there are 2 sets of rinks within a few blocks of each other, I would play there Friday nites.
All the Americans like to take runs at the Canadian they heard was coming to town LOL
3 of us Canadians would duck all that nonsense and load up 1 team and crush them every weekend LOL
Funny story lol. I have houses and some property in Michigan. Lived there for over 20 years. Big Redwing fans. Visited Toronto a few times when I was younger. I remember going on a field trip to a spaghetti factory.
Somewhere on my FB there is a long buried album from my trip to Nashville winter of 2003. Hung out w wings fan bc they know hockey and are basically Canadians but for the accent LOL.
Wings fans trek down to Smashville EN MASSE to see Preds games.
I had comp tickets with some of my connections, and had a great time with the Michigan folks.
I am about 50 kms or so dead East of the downtown Torontostan core with the dome and rink, etc.
