Round 43 is over and it is time present the winners. It is true that activity is slowing down in general, and in this week's challenge, we had only one contestant after the first two days. With the slow start, I'm still happy to see we ended up with five strong entries.
If you have the time to spend on your steem blog, I would encourage you to be as active as possible. With the current low activity on the platform, you will have a great chance to shine. There are still many whales looking for great content, so by making an effort in producing awesome content, you will have a great boost coming out of this downturn.

Steemit Comment Challenge #43
This week's featured post was a food-related post from @kinb78, a fun introduction to Japanese Ramen.
Please click here to check out the post.
Congratulations @blueeyes8960 & @road2horizon
The 1st prize this week goes to @blueeyes8960. I believe it is true for many, many people, that they related to Japanese noodles as something cheap, that comes in a plastic container and which only needs to be mixed with boiling water. I hope many will have the opportunity to try the real Ramen. Thank you for your comment and I wish you all the best of luck in creating your homemade version.
Here is a link to a broth recipe which I talked about in my reply.
Thank you and congratulations!

Thank you for the entry! The 2nd prize goes to @road2horizon. Thank you for a lovely and well-formulated comment. This is a "recipe" for comment success. Spitting out comments like this should make wonders for your account. I hope you soon can make it to Japan and try out Ramen. In Tokyo you have around 10,000 places that serve ramen, so you better stay 3 weeks so you can try them all. ;)

@danielsaori thank you for choosing me as a winner in your comment contest. Also, I have voted for you for witness. I appreciate that you are trying to help newcomers get a start, both with your contest, and with advice on how we can make our account grow. And also thanks for the link to the ramen broth recipe! Are you going to try the homemade ramen noodle recipe?
Congratulations again and thanks a lot for your witness vote.
I would really like to follow both those recipes, but that time needed to prepare the broth is really something. Let's see if I can make it early next year. :)
Hi @danielsaori, thank you a lot for choosing my ramen post as this week's featured post😊. Also good recommendation, ramen Jun, I will remember the place and will try if I can get a chance to visit Frankfurt. I am a beginner so your vote and reply were quite encouraging, I vote for you for witness :) Will follow you and keep checking your feed!
It was my pleasure! I know the market doesn't make it easy for us at the moment, but I do hope you will continue your Steem journey and continue your blog. Looking forward to your future posts about Japan.
Thank you for your support and I hope to see you around!
Congratulations to the winners, they will spend a week of luxury thanks to the support of @danielsaori. I will continue to be pending and participating in this contest. Thank you @danielsaori for such a generous initiative. A hug.
Thank you for the nice words. I'll see you around.
thank you for the nice words and your minnows supporting contest take care
Daniel,
I've noticed that new users are having a harder challenge than ever earning rewards and are in desperate need of @dustsweeper 's help.
Since new accounts have no STEEM they can't order the product through the steemit funds transfer.
I looked at three new accounts this morning. Each of the accounts had a dozen posts with votes, but they had earned no STEEM.
I wanted to suggest your service. But they had no STEEM to give you.
These new accounts are going to leave the platform because of a poor design.
So, I was thinking this morning: It would be wonderful if new users could buy Dusty's services through paypal.
For example, they could send $5.00 to a paypal.me account. They would start getting their dusty upvotes as if they paid with SBD. (maybe a little bit more as SBDs ain't worth what they used to be).
I realize that this means that you would have to sully your hands with US dollars, but it would be for the benefit of new users and the SteemIt community.
Hi Yintercept, sorry for the delay.
Thank you for the suggestion. It would open up for new ways to accept payments, but I'm not sure it is something we would like to try out anytime soon. I'm thinking, why wouldn't they be able to buy steem and then transfer it to their account? I'm not up to speed on the latest, but I'm sure there are easy ways to do that.
Dear Sir, Please read the memo. I need your help.
Hi, the card is back in your deck.
btw it was a pirate captain and not a sabre shark.
I got it. Thank you so much!!
