RE: STEEMIT CULINARY CHALLENGE #38 - THAI CURRY THE CANADIAN VEGAN WAY

in #steemitculinarychallenge7 years ago (edited)

Thank you for tempting my palate with yummy deliciousness, Lena! I must say that anyone who is not a vegan can only look over these recipes and see that it is an easy choice to lean to the side of good!

Wonderfully fresh ingredients sprinkled with a little love and tasty garnishes, the finishing touch to any meal. How could anybody resist? I must confess to not being a huge fan of rice although I eat it, I prefer couscous or quinoa, I wonder if this would work?

As always you put on quite the show for presentation. I even got my best crystal out with a splash of wine to enjoy it.

Thanks again, Lena. You are going to become a legend on Steemit, one vegan at a time. :))

Awwwwwwwwwwwww, my Dearest Denise. I was hoping you would be one of the first to comment. (I think I am getting addicted to your sweet comments lol). Anyway, you can absolutely have quinoa or couscous with this dish. No problem at all. Or if you like Pad Thai noodles. Thank you so much your supprt means a lot. Enjoy your wine in that fancy crystal glass and drink on being famous to us both lol, CHEERS 🍇🍍🍑🌸🍑🍍🍉

Good! I don't find rice distasteful, but, I prefer the taste of the others. I am having fun exploring the different tastes melding together and have come up with some really tasty experiments. :))

While not quite perfect, I find that I can throw out all my food rules and start all over again.

It is a fun journey and I am glad you are here to push me down the hill some days. :))

I know exactly what you mean.........there are no rules while creating vegan dish and that is what I love about vegan cooking/ meal preparing the most.

I know!! That is what I am loving about it! I make a dish with kidney beans, black beans and every vegetable in my refrigerator, whatever there is. tomatoes, celery, peppers, zucchini, carrots, beets, cabbage, onions, kale, collard greens - you name it. I cook it like I would chili and my gosh, Lena, it is so delicious. I add some spice in the form of peppers. I make it so that I can have it for lunch or dinner a couple of times that week or even freeze it. I use the Vitamix and when cooked down, it makes a heavenly soup/stew I have no idea what to call it. I call it a dish. ;))

Sounds super delicious and super healthy XOXO
