These are games commonly played by children in the Philippines. Mostly of the games are usually played outside the house and when there are events. Players themselves are only needed. With the flexibility, think and act makes the game more interesting and challenging.
Sack race
This game is a competitive game in which participants place both of their legs inside a sack that reaches up to their waist and jump forward from a starting point toward a finish line. The first person to cross the finish line is the winner of the race.
Buwan-Buwan
A rough circle is drawn on the ground and one person from the group is tagged. He is not allowed to enter the circle, but instead has to touch one of the people inside the circle without having entered it. If he succeeds, he can enter the circle, and the person touched becomes the next one tagged.
Maria went to town
A relay race where each players run to pick-up or put-on the prop-items positioned on the race path; and then run around a designated turn-around point; get back on the same path, returning all the items from where it was taken, and goes back to the starting line for the next player for the run.
