RE: A Good Decision: Stop Wine Drinking

I appreciate your contribution because I grew up with an alcoholic father. I know about the spiral of addiction to alcohol and other addictions. Alcohol consumption and alcohol dependency is widespread and underestimated, but the consequences are enormous, especially for children of alcoholic parents, as alcoholics have a relationship with alcohol and involve their relatives in the addiction disorder. Alcoholism has causes that lie not only in the habit of drinking and the addictive potential of alcohol, but also in an injured emotional life due to illnesses or trauma. Many people drink good red wine, enjoyed here and there, does not make it dependent. I find the high alcohol consumption among young people problematic, since they numb their empathic emotional world, no matter whether they become addicted or not.
