From the accounts of creation in Genesis, we find that water is the oldest and most common substance on earth. In the beginning before creation, the earth was a formless void; a mass pool of water covered the earth. water is also connected to the destruction of the world.
When the Israelites refused to obey God, God sent the flood to dissolve the world. Water is then a principle of creation and dissolution.
Right from the beginning, human beings have been fascinated with water. Water is the strongest natural force in the world, far more powerful than fire or wind.

We come from water and our survival depends on water. An apple is 80% water, tomato is 95% water, pawpaw is 90% water and an orange is 95% water. The human body is 70% water and 70% of the earth’s surface is water. That is why water and animals feature greatly in our dreams, we are water people….lol sounds funny right?
Even though water is the most common substance on earth, we actually use less than 10% of earth’s water. Only 30% of earth’s water is fresh water, and we use less than 10% of this. The rest exist as snow on moutains and hills and cant be used.
Our earth is made up of hydrogen and oxygen. When hydrogen mixes with oxygen it becomes water. Water exist in three forms, solid (ice) liquid (water) and gas (vapor) of all the natural subtances on earth, water is the only one that exist in three forms. Water flows in oceans, rives and lakes. When temperature falls below 0 degrees centigrade, it snows. When temperature increases to 100 degress centigrad,it changes to vapour or steam. To stay healthy, each person needs to drink at least 2 and half liters of water daily

Water also moderates body heat, preventing it from rising too high or too low. Water serves as a lubricant for the muscles and joints, keeping them healthy and strong
Water therapy is a scientific method of drinking water to promote healthy and bring healing. When you wake up in the morning, drink at least five cups of water. It is better to do this as soon as you wake up, even before brushing your teeth.
Drink more water during the course of the day; drink as much as you can, but never while eating. You should drink water at least one hour before or after meals, never during meals. This is because the body produces its enzymes, which makes the enzymes lose their concentration. The safest and purest drinking water comes from spring.
Before you go to bed at night you should drink two to three cups of water.

This article is interesting. Water is life. I once read that we can survive without food for 7 days but die without water in two days. How true is that?
