It is important to improve your students spirit for learning so they do not experience boredom and subsequent laziness toward their lessons. Without a thirst for knowledge, their willingness to learn will be weak and possibly indifferent towards their studies. Increasing your student’s motivation for learning can be a difficult task for teachers and parents.

Learning is the greatest self-development. Only by learning can one grow and become better at anything. To measure the extent in which students can develop is by measuring the extent of the childs motivation to learn. Following are some tips to improve your students' motivation to learn.
Your Emotions
When a student feels you are sincere and caring, it will increase their motivation to pay attention and learn the lessons well. Your care has great impact on a student. They feel the attention and wish to please you.Suggestions and Feedback
It is important for teachers to provide advice and feedback to the students on how to learn well. Teachers should use positive words and never show students that they have weaknesses in certain areas. They should also motivate with praise and positive words so that students gain confidence.Enthusiasm
Teachers who enthusiastic about teaching, and show excitement in the subjects, set a good example. Their students pick up on the positive energy and are eager to learn.Guidance
The teacher should direct the students on how to achieve maximum results in school according to the child’s interest levels. Each child learns at a different rate, and is more interested in different things. Some students learn slower than others, therefore the lessons must be adjusted so they do not fall behind, and possibly provide tutoring. Alternately, some children are fast learners and the instructor can give them extra lessons to keep them from getting bored. Remember, it is the teachers job to ensure all students succeed.Active Flexibility
Ensure students are active participants by allowing them to express themselves. Allow flexibility in the class, and provide avenues for them to create, design, and adventure. By being flexible and allowing them to control their creations, you are increasing their interest level in the studies.Rewards
When a student shows effort and has a great outcome- such as he does extremely well on a test, a gift or award may be presented in front of the other students for motivation purposes. Also, if a student is struggling in a certain area, but is working diligently, give him praise and encouragement as both a recognition of his hard work and motivation to keep pushing himself to achieve.Change it Up
Use varying activities and teaching methods. Students experience boredom if classes are tedious and monotonous. By utilizing varying techniques, different parts of the brain are stimulated and boredom cannot set in. Change it up by mixing lectures with group discussion, role playing, simulations, case studies, and audio visual presentations.

This Very useful ashfia.. For students, the motivation is likened to the fuel of a vehicle. It will not mean no matter how good the machine is and its fine tuning if it does not have fuel! Fuel becomes a vital element for a vehicle.. thank you☺
