Hi guys it has being long i post, hope u don't miss me to much, Today am posting a interesting topic(The Power Of Anger)I am sure that some of us will have family, friend or even you that is reading my post might have anger problem, but don't worry your problem is not the big deal but how to face it and overcome it, is the big issue.
ANGER IN MY OWN MEANING
Anger is when you get mad, your throat aroused and your voice get louder, inside you feel a certain in describe strength and you feel comfortable confronting this perceived danger your body automatically secrete adrenaline. I remember a saying that say a hungry man is a angry man.
TYPES OF ANGER
Assertive Anger: This is the type of anger that you express in ways that created change in the world around you without causing distress or destruction,it is used to used to overcome stress.
Behavioural Anger: It is expressed physically and it is usually aggressive like involving in attacking someone,breaking or throwing things. This type of anger can be highly unpredictable,it may be fuelled by alcohol or drugs ,and often has a negative legal and interpersonal consequence.
Chronic Anger: It is an ongoing,generalised resentment of other people,frustration with certain circumstances and toward oneself,it can effects one's health and wellbeing.
*Judgemental Anger: It is a type of anger that is usually a reaction to a perceived injustice or someone else's shortcoming and it is assume a morally superior stance of justified fury.
Self Abusive Anger: It is a shame based type of anger,if you have been feeling hopeless,humiliated or ashamed you might internalise those feeling and express anger via negative self talk,self harm substance use or eating disorder behaviour.
Verbal Anger: It is a type of anger that seen a less dangerous than behaviour anger,but it can be a form of emotional and psychological abuse that deeply hurt the target of one's anger.
Volatile Anger:If this is your type of anger you are very quick to get upset about perceived annoyance both big and small, once you have impulsively express your anger you feel calm immediately but unfortunately volatile can be incredible destructive as those around you may feel the need to walk on eggshell for fear of triggering your rage.
HOW TO CONTROL YOUR ANGER
Think before you Speak: In the of heat of the period ,it is easy to say something you all later regret,take a few moment to collect your thought before saying anything.
Calm yourself before express your anger: As soon you are thinking clearly your frustration in an assertive way but non confrontational way,state your concern and need clearly and directly without hurting others or trying to control them.
Exercise: Physical activity can help to reduce stress that can make you to become angry,if you feel your anger is escalating go for a run or spend sometime doing other enjoyable physical activities.
Take a timeout: Timeout aren't just for kids,give yourself short break during times of the day that tend to be stressful. A few moment of quiet can make you feel prepared to handle what's ahead without getting irritated or angry.
*Identify possible solution :Instead of focussing on what made you mad,work on resolving issue at hand.
*****Remember anger does not makes your feel better it only makes you feel miserable*****
