There was a wonderful surprise waiting for Luan and Jared, as they were told, that Luan’s grandfather was turning 80 years old and they were going to the farm to have a very nice party.
They were very excited as Jared had not yet ever been to a farm.
They left early in the morning and they drove to the farm because the twins had to sleep, as not to get too tired.
They reached the farm and Luan’s grandparents were so happy to see them all. Luan’s grandmother could not believe how much they had grown, and the twins were nearly sitting up they were so beautiful.
Luan said, mother can I go and show Jared how the cows are milked; it is still so early they must have just started. Yes love go and show him everything I am now going to feed the twins and by the time you get back it will be breakfast time. The boys ran down to where they were milking the cows, and Jared was stunned.
He had never seen how milk came out of a cow and said is it the same milk we get in bottles. Yes Luan said it does go through some process before they put it in the bottles.

After they had done looking at how the cows were milked they went to see how they feed the chickens and get eggs. They had a basket with them because Luan’s mother had asked him to bring her some for breakfast.
They then went for breakfast and knew they could go and look at the pigs and sheep later. They had such a wonderful breakfast; Jared said he had never tasted anything so good. It was because everything was from the farm and very fresh.
They left after breakfast to go and see the rest of the farm. It was nice as they both loved the outdoors.
They walked down to the meadow and looked at the sheep grazing in the field.
Luan told Jared that they cut the wool from the sheep in the summer and they make material and wool that his grandmother knitted with for them.
He told him he had some pictures of them shearing the sheep at his grandmother’s house and will show him when they got back home.
They then walked to see the pigs, who had little piglets and they were making the most terrible noise, it was very funny and they laughed.
After walking all this way and enjoying themselves, they were getting thirsty and decided to go home.
Jared phoned his father and told him about everything he had seen. Hope you enjoyed my story so far see you tomorrow.

Hey friend @bigbear, I liked your publication a lot since it reminds me of my childhood, I grew up in the countryside surrounded by many cows, I love cow's milk, I have the pleasure to drink even a glass every day. Finally thank you very much for sharing your beautiful experience, you have my support.
I think all children who grow up in the country, have an advantage over children growing up in a big city. Everyone knows that people stare care about each other in small communities, and that is how it should be.
