RE: Two heads are better than one: Co-teaching in the high school classroom.

This model allows for students with disabilities to be educated along side their peers without disabilities instead of being isolated from them in a separate setting with a different teacher.

Co-teaching makes great sense for students with special needs, allowing them to learn and grow alongside their peers. And I imagine the other students benefit in environments like this too. We sent our third-grader to his first day of school today, and we're happy to see the diversity in his classroom. These ideas of yours are thoughtful and thought-provoking too. Thank you.

I hope your 3rd grader is having a great start to the year!

Good start so far, yes, thank you. He's public schooling after a year of private schooling and homeschooling, or more honestly "unschooling". He seems to thrive in the public schools, so we're happy for his happiness. And I hope yours is going well too.
