They say that CHOCOLATES improve your mood. True!. Whenever the name chocolate strikes my ears, my mouth begins to water and a sensation is caused in my whole body. If you are a chocoholic who likes the occasional salty caramel thrown in, then you’ll absolutely love this rich-and-gooey chocolate dessert recipe.
SERVINGS: 10 - 12
-INGREDIENTS:-
1 box brownie mix
1 cup caramel cream candies
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup cold water
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3/4 teaspoon flake sea salt
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
6 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 vanilla bean, scraped
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350°. Line a 9×13 pan with foil and set aside.
In a large bowl combine the fudge brownie mix as per the instructions on the box. Then mix in 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk and the chocolate chips.
3.Next, combine your caramels and 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk in a small pan over medium heat.
While the caramel is warming up, pour half of the batter into the pan and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Stir the caramel mixture until smooth (about 10 min) and then pull out the brownie pan and drizzle the caramel over the bottom layer.
Then pour the remaining brownie batter over top. Continue to bake the brownies for approximately 25-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes clean.
7.Remove pan from oven and allow to cool.
- Then lift the foil and brownies out of the pan for easy cutting.
