It's all connected isn't it. Our heart isn't just a heart, our veins and arteries aren't just tubes for blood to pass through, our arms, legs, and all our organs are interdependent.

Your post is a good reminder to us that one symptom, ie a bruise or hematoma isn't the cause but rather a symptom of something else.

Our bodies are amazing.

They are simply amazing, a lifetime can be spent on studying an organ and still, we don;t know everything.
A disease, sickness can be managed and treated, yet a complication can occur that changes a life and everybody around him/her, including the medical personnels.
